Boris Betancourt's Online Review Report Card

Dr Betancourt and his assistant Annette Jimenez treated me like a VIP when I really needed help. I recently went through radiation after a double mastectomy do I obviously have had a lot of dr interactions with various trams along the way. Though my diagnosis on this recent hospital stay was pneumonia (same side as cancer & radiation), I felt like I was going to die at one point. Annette came to speak with me just ahead of the dr because he was in a procedure and she knew I had high anxiety. She explained the medical plan Dr Betancourt had planned out and explained in detail why he chose that treatment as well as the timeline. Within an hour the Dr came by to make sure I understood and to see if I had questions. Out of the hospital on Saturday and already have my follow up this week. Great experience from the first moment. Thank y'all do muvh!!

This is my first visit and I'm impressed. The Doctor was very thorough in reviewing my medical history from my chart on Memorial Health System. He explained each event with visual display and pointing out the areas of concern to both me and my caregiver wife. He explained his approach to my treatment. He had his assistant conduct the Spirometer testing and walk tests. The summary of the visit was posted immediately on my chart, and I could review it by the time I got home. I will now get pulmonary rehab and maintenance sessions to build up my physical strength and stamina.

The doctor was very warm and professional, he explained my condition clearly and gave me commendable solutions that have improved my quality of life. The staff is wonderful and the personalized attention, especially Dr. Boris Betancourt and his assistant Annette Jimenez, thank you for taking care of our most precious asset, health.

My Name is Jeff. I was diagnosed with late stage 4 lung cancer back in 2021. i started to develop a resistance to my treatment which has a common side effect of pneumonia & pneumonitis. After several stays in the hospital, the most recent, the week of Christmas,Dr. Bettencourt was constantly calling / texting with all the doctors responsible for my care. THIS SAVED MY LIFE !!! had they treated me for pneumonia, i would not have made it home. By following Dr. Bettencourt's direction, i was home for the holiday, and am beyond happy to say that as of this review, my lungs are over 90% clearer. There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind, that Dr. Bettencourt treats all his patients this way. From how his staff, to how he himself treats, carries, and conducts their day to day appointments. However, in my time of need, I was the only one that mattered and his actions were testimonial to this. He made me feel like family and for the rest of my life, will be considered as such

New patient doctor comes in rushed nurse I need to see you a moment doctor leaves the room. Returns and in the middle of talking phone rings he answers to let someone into his development gate. His dr coat was filthy he was very abrupt and not respectful of my time. Was impossible to check out because the line was so long so I just left. I would not recommend this office or doctor to even my worst enemy.

All , staff very polite and professional, extremely pleased with Dr Betancourt. He is very thorough, explains things well and answered all my questions. He is friendly and kind. I recommend Dr. Betancourt.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Boris Betancourt, he was very professional and spent time letting me know about my health problems, symptoms, consequences and treatment. He educated me and helped understand things I had not previously realized before to help me get and be better. I really appreciate his advise and consult.

Dr.. Betancourt is one of the best medical professionals I've had the pleasure to meet. He is absolutely down to earth in his personality and explaining his diagnosis. I knew I was in excellent hands shortly after meeting him. If you or a loved one needs a pulmonologist, Dr Betancourt is, by far, the one to go to. And the staff treated my wife and I like family as well.
