1hr into my sons appointment I got a phone call that I need a referral 😒and am like is this a joke. The receptionist said no I ask why wasnt I told before hand and her answer oh i shouldve known. I said I didnt I shouldve been told since the appointment was made she said not her problem that was rude. DR.DIAZ YOU NEED TO CHECK YOUT STAFF VERY UNPROFESSIONAL
Terrible experience. Staff is the worst So disrespectful lazy rude unprofessional. My son have 2 virtual appointments schedule with NO call. When I asked why the doctor did not call staff responded I dont know.If she dont know who will? For how long we need to deal with this poor staff? Is there a way to give 0 stars?
Couldn’t care less about our reason for the visit, no follow up and a staff and video call system that is just useless.
Dr Diaz treated my 4 month old baby he was very thorough and explained everything great bedside manners and I needed that especially through this pandemic however because of the front desk staff and their lack of professionalism Im taking my baby somewhere else. She is now almost 8 months and will get a follow up soon at a different GI office.

one of the best office .
Upon calling Office the staff is not educated by an administrator. I repeatedly told them I did a test recently and they keep on telling me I didn’t. It took several transfers and several staff members to find the proper documents that I did. Basically the staff is calling me a liar. When I asked for the doctor the doctor won’t be able to call you until further notice because she’s on vacation. As a pediatric G.I. the children come first. Especially during a pandemic like this I don’t think this is fair or right they’ve had the results for weeks and not responding to me or to the corresponding doctors. My Daughter has a medical condition which she depends on the G.I. to give us an annual result. I don’t know what the health system is coming too. But during this pandemic it’s getting worse and worse and worse especially with the customer service throughout the staff. PleaseHope someone will look into this as we are dealing with little children.
Dr. Diaz has been treating my son for a year with knowledge and consideration. He has definitely earned our trust.
I drove to this practice from Fort Myers because due to some terrible first hand experiences and also conversations with friends in the medical field, I learned we have no decent pediatric specialists here. It was completely worth the drive! The staff were very friendly and patient. The parking was a bit inconvenient at the hospital location, as to be expected, but the wait was not very long. Dr. Diaz spent a significant amount of time with me answering all of my questions. My toddler was melting down and he didn't skip a beat. While I was there, there were children with significantly more severe health issues. Its easy to have fears and concerns about any health issue with your child, yet I was not made to feel like my concerns were not important. He was very helpful, asked a lot of questions, and was thorough in his suggestions. Before I left we discussed next steps, and plans A & B based on those results. To top it off, I received a call from his nurse to check on how my daughter was doing a week later! My daughter's symptoms are under control, and I will definitely drive to Miami to see Dr. Diaz if another issue arises!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
