List of Juan Brenes's Reviews
Been Brenes patient for many years. had triple by-pass in 2018. Have been exhibiting disturbing & concerning symptoms. Light headiness, Fainting, heart racing and pounding. Already been diagnosed with palpitations. Wasn't able to get an appt in April, 2023 so he suggested I see the nurse practitioner who was of no help whatsoever and rescheduled the appt for 11/6/2023. Nurse practitioner is a tactic for the doctor to document the patient was not ignored and has been attended to. August, 2023 been twice to the ER with shortness of breath. ER insists I should immediately see a cardiologist. Brenes cannot find me an appointment earlier than 11/6/23 that was made for me back in April, 2023. EK 12-lead shows the following:1. Possible Left Atrial enlargement2. Left ventricular hypertrophy3. Abnormal ECG4. Compared with ECG on 4/7/23 5. Previous ECG has undetermined rhythm, needs review. And this wonderful cardiologist is totally ignoring my pleas. What an awful system. SHAME
Dr. Brenes is a good doctor who shows empathy, concern, and interest in the well-being and safety of the patient. I feel safe in his hands. He skillfully explains everything about my health, medication, and care I have to know about myself.
We were referred to Dr. Brenes by a vascular surgeon who is a family friend in the Memorial Healthcare System. He spoke highly of his qualifications and experience. Dr. Brenes has a great bedside manner. He shows concern and care for his patients. Thus far our needs have been for basic cardiac care, thankfully. The practice is one of the most well-run and efficient medical offices we have dealt with in South Florida. The staff is professional and kind.
Dr Brenes is amazing. He’s so nice. He listens to you, takes his time, never rushes and he is so knowledgeable. He really cares about you. His assistant Brittney is fantastic. Also If I write on the portal I am answered immediately. So grateful. When I leave the visit I feel I’ve had the best Doctor visit.
I was so happy to meet Dr. Brenes and am very familiar with his medical philosophy! We can prevent so many Health issues just by following his recommendations (good eating habits, exercise, and positive attitude. Staff was very attentive we absolutely recommend his practice. It was very inspiring to see such a good hearted doctor that truly cares about his patients.

Simply the best❣
Dr. Brenes is as good as it gets. If you have access to his services look no further. My mother was recommended for open heart bi pass surgery by another doctor. That doctor, in a cold and thoughtless manner said to me that he had to open my mother up. Having already seen my father go through the pain and recovery of such a surgery, I sought another opinion. I was referred to a pioneer in the field, Dr. Lamelas at Mt. Sinai. He examined my mother and in turn referred me to Dr. Brenes. I was initially disappointed since I wanted the very best for my mother. As it turned out, he was the best. Dr. Brenes ran additional test and consulted with other experts. In the end, my mother avoided open heart surgery. This is not to say that this is the norm, however, Dr. Brenes will act in your best interest.
He is a great physician. He is no longer with Mount Sinai (Miami Beach). Does anyone know where he is practicing?

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
