Mark Lamet's Online Review Report Card

Had a Colonoscopy and Endoscopy due to ongoing medical problems back in April 2021. Should have a follow up visit in May 2021. Office did not provide an appointment till June 22 2021. In the State of Florida mask are no longer required. Received call from doctors office the day prior to my appointment to confirm and she did not make any mention that mask are required. Arrived at Dr. Lamets office where they have posted signs mask are required. Asked the girl in the front desk if she can sell me one and she said NO. This morning I had dropped of my car at the dealership and did not have mask in my glove compartment. Dr. Mark Lamet is standing by with no mask and did nothing. Alternate appointment is available in one more month. It is sad a lady at another doctors office which I am not a patient gave my husband a make to try to help. It is obvious my health is not a priority to anyone in the office. Changing doctor.

Stay away from this office!!! Specially from Nancy The worse receptionist ever . Early April I called to schedule to see Dr. Mark Lamet , they gave me appointment for May 20. One week before appointment they called me to reschedule. Now they gave me new appointment for June 10th . Again one week before to see doctor , they called to cancel and to reschedule to July 23th. It’s more than 3 months and can’t see this doctor. This lady Nancy is a joke , very rude, so incompetent to reschedule the patients. I been suffering from stomach upset and pain and I can’t see this doctor. Really bad customer service. Now I have to find someone else.

I would go back to Hollywood Gastro in a heartbeat. They were kind, patient, and had GREAT bedside manner. The doctors were reassuring even to the point where I fell asleep from the anesthesia. The report was immediate both verbally and then in writing BEFORE I even got home. Superb - the nurses were great, calming, full of personality. I have 2 suggestions: 1. The office and OR were FREEZING...and you wait for about 1 hour to start your procedure. Maybe a warmer blanket? 2. I wish the pre-consult appointment was as efficient as the process on the day of the procedure. I literally sat alone in a room for over 1.5 hours, having 3 short visits from different people and never actually meeting the doctor. The first visit was to test vitals, the next was the PA asking a few questions, and the last was the tech booking my appointment in the computer and explaining the prep. The three visits lasted less than 10 minutes total time...It would be GREAT if they could be consolidated into one visit and/or two visits and reduce waiting time. Otherwise, I am really thankful for the work of the clinic, the doctors, nurses and techs. Everyone was super friendly!

Amazing Doctors and Office staff.I went to about three different doctors to for consultation and Dr. Lamet was by far the most affordable and the office staff made you feel welcomed.I had my procedure done on October 29th and the doctor personally called me in the evening to check up on me. A few days later i received a call from the Maria the office manager to also check up on me and to ensure i had everything i needed.Definitely recommend them.

Shouldnt even get one star. By far the most incompetent doctors office I have ever dealt with. I could not get the directions for the prep that I was supposed to take for the colonoscopy. The staff could not work their own email system. They got all of my insurance information wrong. Needless to say I did not get the colonoscopy done by them

My insurance is accepted however due to the front desk ineptitude to bill my insurance correctly I was unable to see the doctor. I was sitting in the office over an hour waiting just for them to tell me I could not be seen. Two thumbs down. If this is what I had to look forward to then it is best I find another doctor.

Father and Son practice nice friendly staff. I felt like this office actually cared. My first colonoscopy was not so pleasant at another clinic. I will return in five years to Dr. Lamet.
