List of Memorial Healthcare System's Reviews
I first discovered this hospital when I visited the emergency room, the staff is amazing, kind, human and professional. I live about 30 minutes away but I drive there for all my checkups and exams. From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by kind people, the registration for your appointment is fast and efficient, done by a polite staff who really cares. The imaging department is easy to find and the mammogram process is done by a very professional staff that not only is efficient but has empathy for the patients. From the moment you make an appointment by phone till you actually are there and meet the staff, the all have a great attitude and it makes you confortable.Always check if they take your insurance, of course but truly, this hospital is great. As a cherry on top, parking is free and conveniently in front of the building. The Memorial Regional Hospital South has a long list of services, I am pleased with the services I received and most importantly, I really am impressed with how nice everyone is.
Emergency room was crowded on a Friday night.
I will never go to this hospital again, I figured I will give them the benefit of the doubt because it had some higher ratings than some of the other hospitals in my area and even though some people put it down I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong. I got there a little bit after 10 PM last night and I left there after 3 AM without even seeing a doctor. I asked them quite a few times when I was going to see a doctor and they kept saying there was only one doctor on, I kept seeing patients leave and empty beds from those patients leaving and yet new patients would come in and get those beds and he would go in and see those new patients and I would still be waiting in the room for him, finally I got up and left, what kind of patient care is that? Any amount of money they will bill the insurance for Dr. care and everything. And that’s wrong considering I didn’t even see the doctor
I went to this hospital to get a ultrasound and the report were not very detailed. I had another one done 5 months and it was detailed. The tech literally wrote 2 sentences. I called to complain and they said to send the previous report to compare . Literally took a month to get a response and the report was exactly the same . Poor service and expensive .
I want to thank Frank Francis for his outstanding service to me first of all he has overseen some issues that I had had with my respiration I refuse to take it off I was very insecure I have already suffered a lot lthe ability to get the breath in the ICU so I was very insecure to take anything off he gently still showed me didn’t say anything but show me that everything is going to be all right then I had an incident where all my clothes were stained I had no clothes he literally took me to the washing machine And he help me do laundry as therapy which I was so thankful because I don’t know if I have any clothes at home I did get clothes later on but it was too late I saw Dr. Miller I was kind of embarrassed with just a gown showing that I was just wanting to just stay in the rehab like I didn’t want to progress which was not true he was very kind he saw my anxiety didn’t push the subject simply let Francis and the rest of the physical therapy do their magic and let me gently take it off I am so grateful for Dr. Miller because he was has he was smart enough to see that he didn’t have to do anything he knew he had a very good crew which they are excellent Thank you from the bottom of my heart Frank Was highly skilled super knowledgeable extremely helpful mild tempered excellent for this job not to mention super empathetic and still highly skilled while he’s the whole package
If I could rate Memorial South a zero right now I would. I have literally been trying to get through to someone for three hours just to check on my love one. I get transferred to the nurses station on the 4th floor then placed on hold for 30 or 40 minutes. Someone by the name of Joyce comes back to the line says she's trying to get me to my love one's nurse I hold again for 15 minutes then the phone hangs up. So calling back to the main line answering service comes on and at the end it says to leave a message. Are you kidding me right now? 🙄
What an amazing place! I went in for surgery and the first thing I noticed was how clean the place is. The registration process was fast and the person doing the registration was really sweet. Once upstairs, all the nurses were really nice. Once in the recovery room, again super friendly and nice nurses. Highly recommended.
Very clean hospital, prompt and professional.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
