List of Stefanie Berry's Reviews
I had so much hope for this visit but I should have listened to the reviews. After waiting 6 months for this appointment she saw us for 10 minutes. She barely touched my son only asked what therapies he was in and told us to continue. She is clueless when it comes to dealing with Autism diagnosis. So I’m currently on the hunt for a new doctor.
In-compassionate and lazy. Doesn’t care about her patients AT ALL! If you think Dr. Berry is ‘decent’ I feel bad for your expectations of doctors. I would most likely have gone insane or be dead if I had not switched pediatric neurologists. Wish her the ABSOLUTE best ❤️
I would leave Dr. Berry no star if that would be an option. Not only is she non-compassionate, but she is the worst pediatric neurologist there is. My daughter suddenly started having seizures and I was unaware that she suffered from a genetic disorder which she got from her biological father (who suddenly passed away from his seizure disorder after she was diagnosed). My daughter was transferred from our local ER to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital as she was then a patient of Dr. Berry and kept on having seizures. Dr. Berry could have cared less and discharged my daughter after 48 hours when there was recorded seizure activity (6 seizures) on the EEG. Furthermore, when pointing out to Dr. Berry that my daughter experienced horrible and intolerable side effects of one medication Dr. Berry had prescribed (Keppra), Dr. Berry's reply was "there is nothing I can do about it - your daughter has to learn to deal with the side effects". After discharge (while my daughter still had seizure activity) we were hospitalized again - this time at Nicklaus Children's Hospital where my daughter remained for almost 2 weeks! There they performed a genetic test and it revealed her Refractory Seizure Disorder CHRNA4 gene mutation, associated with Frontal Lobe Epilepsy. Also, her current pediatric neurologist got her off Keppra and put her Lamictal which she tolerates very well. Dr. Berry did not only fail to give my daughter an accurate diagnosis (She simply assumed my daughter was suffering from absence seizures), but she also didn't care about the horrible side effects of Keppra, which my daughter experienced. It is unacceptable to be so non-compassionate especially when it comes to children. Dr. Berry should have looked into alternative medications as apparently there are other medications available. She was dismissive by discharging a patient with apparent and frequent seizure activity recorded on an EEG. I believe that my daughter's current pediatric neurologist saved my daughter's life. He is very compassionate and tried many other medications to get my daughter's partial onset and generalized seizures under control. Besides my daughter's anti-epileptic medications she also got VNS (Vagal Nerve Stimulator) implanted which works great for her. I don't think Dr. Berry would have ever considered this therapy route and my daughter would be dead by now. So, do yourself and your child a favor and STAY AWAY from Dr. Berry!
She is a wonderful pediatric neurologist. She has has helped tremendously in her treatment. Thank you Dr Berry
Great Facility
Great experience during our first visit to Dr. Berry's office. No waiting time. Dr. Berry was very professional, showing high interest for the case, listening very carefully all we were saying, answering all the questions and concerns we had.
In the beginning she seemed like a good doctor. Did not seem to listen to my concerns or the concerns of the pediatrician. She misdiagnosed my child with a simple condition that was in fact so serious, my child was admitted, properly diagnosed and treated at another hospital. No admission of a mistake, no follow-up call, never to be heard from again.
Dr. Berry was my neurologist in New York before she moved to Florida. She was my neurologist since I was 14 (I'm 20 now) and she is an amazing doctor. She was very kind, and made me feel like I was safe and taken care of. I am very grateful for the 6 years she spent treating me. With her help, my epilepsy has stayed under control and hasn't gotten in the way of me having a normal life. Dr. Berry is a grey woman and Florida is very lucky to have her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
