Baptist Health South Florida's Online Review Report Card

I am leaving a second review and I am looking into how else to proceed with this I visited homestead back in july and left a negative review I wish I could leave 0 stars but not a option. Due to the fact that I am being charged 1254 for a visit where all was done was vitals and a script was not examined or given xray as I asked. I am not refusing payment but need help resolving this I have emailed and contacted every person I could regarding the matter and have asked for it to be escalated and that I wanted a itemized letter pls 3x I have asked only to get run around or yeah we will send you it only for me to recieve a doc stating patient care 3 1254 that is not a itemized letter itemized letter would break down charges I am being charged for .1254 dollars of care for . I spoke to a patient care person to sign me up for this program or to see if I qualify which I was ok with but still was told I would get itemized letter as long as a letter with approval or denial which I have yet to recieve while Im still receiving collection letters for this I am not refusing payment but I need help need this resolved. Clearly these folks are not comprehending the issue at hand. This response is their generic response and we have already done this Multiple times Their refusal to give me a response to my issue in writing says ALOT

Horrible service my father went in with a fever and lethargic. They ran bloodwork and urine for lab but sent him home before receiving his results with antibiotics. His oncologist asked for the results from the hospital and he was sent home with ecoli. He sent for more labs and was going to monitor him. Im thankful for his doctor. But Today he had to be rushed back to the hospital. So if you take your family to Baptist hospital make sure its not the one in Homestead they dont care. Extremely unprofessional hospital not a reflection of the rest of Baptist hospitals

Pésimo no le recomiendo a nadie que ponga su salud en servicio de este hospital la demora en emergencia es terrible mi hijo recién operado de un quiste en la cabeza fue a ponerse una venda porque durmiendo se le cayó la que tenía y estuvimos mas de tres horas para que lo atendieran su herida descubierta con el riesgo de coger una infección solo era ponerle la venda al rededor de su cabeza y nos tomó TRES HORAS es una falta de respeto y falta de profesionalismo y falta de humanidadEs una pena que en un país con tantos adelantos tan desarrollo y con tantos buenos profesionales pase estoDeben tomar medidas porque es una vergüenza que en USA pase esto y una lastima un hospital tan bonito ya les digo si tienes una EMERGENCIA no vengas AQUI

In 2019 I went to ER for pain and they decided to take out my gallbladder. The surgeon Dr. Tershacovek cut my bile duct and didn’t even notice. It took days of pain and suffering and multiple ER visits for them to see I had a bile leak. It took them about a month to control the leak. Two years later snd I’m suffering with pain and discomfort. This surgeon has had this happen to him before. Please go to Jackson Um any hospital but this one. Thank

Muy mal servicio yo diría pésimo no le recomiendo a nadie que venga a este hospital llegue con mi hijo que tiene 10 horas de operado para que le cambiaran la venda que le pusieron después de su operación porque durmiendo se le cayó y llevo más de dos horas para que solamente le pongan el gorro y la vendaVenda que es de suma importancia que la tenga pues es una cirugía en la cabezaVayan a otro hospital este no es bueno para urgencias

Se supone que debe haber distanciamiento y esto esta lleno de personas es como estar dentro se un avión ✈️

The attention is exceptional and the staff is wonderful and attractive the food is incomparable better than in many restaurants an unforgettable experience thanks to all the staff and congratulations.

Best hospital ever. They took care of my mom for 11 days. So grateful. Angels work there I cannot thank you guys enough. I have no words. God bless everyone working at this hospital. Forever grateful.
