My kids have been seeing Dr. Torres and her colleagues since they were born (6 years ago). Dr. Torres is extremely professional and caring. Goes right to the point and goes into detail when asked for an explanation. Simply a great doctor. Very aware of state and local resources and is PRO-early intervention, which is great.

I had to call in before office hours because my daughter was ill. Dr. Torres answered and was by far the rudest doctor I have ever had to deal with. My daughter was assigned to her office. We will NOT be going here.

Dr. Torres has been my daughter's pediatrician since birth, and she is now twelve years old. Dr. Torres always has the child's best interest at heart, and I truly appreciate that about her. She will ask the right questions and gives straightforward advice. At one point I was debating getting the HPV vaccine for my daughter, but Dr. Torres took the time to educate me about it so I could make an informed decision. I can only speak for my own experience, but I breastfed my daughter for 18 months (the first 5 months only breastmilk) and Dr. Torres always measured and weighed her to make sure she was getting proper nutrition. She never recommended stopping because my daughter was meeting all of the growing benchmarks. Dr. Torres doesn't care for children to be popular, she does it because she is a professional and will do the best for the child. I am so thankful that she has been my daughter's pediatrician. Dr. Pernas joined the practice, and she is also a caring professional. They are both excellent doctors.

She is the best I will tell anybody that have kids go here for your child safety she is number one I have 3 boys I been going there for 8 years and will not change her at all very happy love the girls in the front best office

Dr. Torres has always been an amazing doctor. She’s always been attentive and responsive to our concerns. We are currently moving to north Florida, and I wish we could take her with us!

Have used this office for 7 years. Professional and friendly staff. After hours phone consultations for urgent questions. Sick and well sides. Attached to Homestead hospital. 4 not 5 stars because of waiting times. Sometimes have to wait a while (more than 1.5 hours). Highly recommend!

This is absolutely one of the best Pediatric Doctors in Homestead! They have very convenient hours and also have walk-ins for sick kiddos. Our youngest daughter was born at the Homestead hospital and we opted to have Dr. Pernas as her Pediatrician. Dr. Pernas is great with children and always spends a good amount of time explaining everything to us, as parents. She runs a great office and everyone is just as nice/professional as she is. We enjoy coming to her office for visits be sic the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Last year we were traveling in Arizona and Dr. Torress was very helpful to call in a prescription for our daughter. Make sure to make an appointment for your visits. If you have to do a walk in for an emergency try to go on a Tuesday or a Wednesday morning.

It is refreshing to find a physician that is truly passionate and committed to rendering the highest quality of health care services, with referrals to specialists and therapists as needed, and one that is always personally available to answer your questions and concerns and to provide follow-up guidance, support, education, and counseling on a regular basis. Despite having all the latest technology to afford patients accessibility to their electronic health information through a secure online portal, Dr. Torres takes the time to personally call the parents to inform of lab or test results. Dr. Torres really knows and cares about her patients and their families.
