I'm way late on my review and not sure he's even still there, but Dr. Iyer did my surgery in 2008. I had a pylonidal cyst and had surgery before him with another surgeon in NJ, and it was a nightmare. The first surgeon not only did the surgery wrong, but it was a painful recovery with complications that lasted a year. Even worse, the cyst came back months later. Two years later I moved to FL and found Dr. Iyer. I was amazed that I had no pain after the surgery at all because he cut out the nerves in the area...God bless him for that. I also had no complications and even more importantly it's been 14 yrs since the surgery and the cyst never came back. He was friendly and is honestly the best in the field here in FL.

Dr Iyre was comforting and explained everything in layman’s terms so that I understood it. Plus he was very thorough and very knowledgeable. I had complete trust in him and I will also recommend him to my friends should they ever need to consult a surgeon. He was recommended to me very highly and now know why.

I am extremely grateful that I found Dr. Hari Iyer when I needed surgery. It was a very serious, complicated situation and he came highly recommended to me by other physicians. His dedicated care and expert abilities saw me through the procedure and my time in the hospital. I really felt like I had a guardian angel on my side with Dr. Iyre. He's a wonderful doctor and a very caring person who have really enjoyed getting to know.
