Christine Behan's Online Review Report Card

Called this doctors office in search of a new primary care doctor. A woman told me that they take my insurance and that I needed to call my health insurance company to switch my PCP to them so that I could make an appointment. I called my health insurance company and she was on hold with this doctors office for almost 30 minutes. She came back on and told me that they do not take my insurance. I was very confused so I called the office again after I got off the phone. The woman that I spoke with repeatedly talked over me and interrupted me while I tried to explain the situation so that I could understand what was going on. I was very polite and patient. Couldn’t even get a word in. When she finally let me speak, I was able to tell her what was going on. She then went on to explain her job to me like I had any idea what she was talking about. It was like I was trying to understand another language. I couldn’t speak to ask questions. It sucked. Not a good experience. It really doesn’t need to be this difficult and people that work with patients or customers really need to understand how the patient feels and what they are experiencing.

I have been with Dr. Behan since she started to practice. She was always on top of my illnesses. She takes time to talk to me, When I need to see a specialist she makes sure I get the right one to help me. I miss her so much. and miss seeing her grandchildren on the computer. Dr. Behan is a very good doctor. The only complaint is that either her staff lies. My husband and I were patients of hers for quite a few years. What ruins her practice is her staff, (Anna Marie extremely nasty) the doctor does not always get her messages, and they are very unprofessional. I was running a fever if 101 and called the office, Anna said the doctor was busy, couldnt see me, when I called back to say I was going to a walk in, she said she would tell the doctor I refused to come in.

She listens and takes time for each and every patient.

My mother has been going to this doctor for years. She is very kind, patient and explains things thoroughly. She is also willing to explore more natural options besides just ordering more prescrption drugs. She takes her time and listens to all our concerns and I feel that my mother is in very good hands. I've seen her many times at the hospital, even late at night making sure her patients beint taken care of and doing well. I recommend this doctor and wish I lived closer so I could go to her also.

This doctor triple-billed my insurance company for 1 well-woman office visit. When I complained, she dismissed me from practice. The office is dirty, her staff is not very helpful and her demeanor is abrupt and rude.
