David Malka's Online Review Report Card

From the very beginning my experience with Dr. Malka, Nurse Practitioner and the wonderful lady at the front desk who got me in within a week my experience was one of high level professional. I never expected I would be taken seriously but Dr. Malka questioned me having several epidurals into my spinal cord area and it changed attitude! I felt Dr. Malka cared, read my records and was comfortable with tests he ordered. I trust him and will continue treatment as needed with the Malka Institute

Beware. Worst experience I have had with a doctor. He is way too busy to properly treat a patient. Stay away. You've been warned. I waited over an hour for a 3 minute appointment. Then called back 4 time for a serious issue and received no response. My patients ran out and looked for another doctor.

Homes have been here for years how can you expect people to make changes that violate the law requiring people to make changes that violate law

I went to the Hudson office (before the "MALKA Institute). I know my case very well as it has gone on for over 40 years at that point. This haughty, nasty "doctor" Malka, quickly read my long-awaited CT scan results and was very dismissive, claiming that everything was "fine". It was far from fine and it took skilled doctors at USF to find the answers. Don't waste a minute with this NJ sheister. He is nasty, dismissive and inexperienced about neurological (serious) issues. I left and never went back.

I was so disappointed with Dr. Malka's level of care. He never took the time to review any of my records. I gave him numerous cd's and every visit he'd say well from your CD there's been no changes so see me in 3 months, my cd was 2 years old!! I finally had enough and found another neurologist! Listen to the reviews!! BEWARE!!

Dismissive, did not listen to my Mother. Gave her drugs that have a high chance of interaction to cause low blood pressure with two of her medications and a referral to a psychiatrist, though this says he is also one. She was there because she has epilepsy, and other neurological symptoms. If he had spent more time asking about the condition, he would know that she also has an 8 year old granddaughter that is in the middle of diagnosis to find the root cause of her seizures. Where they both drop shake and foam at the mouth. I will be calling the office tomorrow to make sure he actually intended to prescribe the medication she just got from the pharmacy that also warns about family history of diabetes, which her mother had.

DONT GO HERE!! I know more about neurology than they do and Im not a dr. They proved that I know more...run away FAST

Told me with NO EXAM or TESTING that I’m “fine” and insinuated I needed a therapist for my “anxiety”. Only offered testing to “make me feel better”. I’ll get a second opinion from someone who cares to TREAT a patient and not tell them to screw off.

I suffered a stroke July 10, 2021, my release paperwork from the hospital said to follow up with Doctor Malka. I called and indicated the aforementioned hospitalization for stroke and follow up per discharge directives. I was told that I would see Dr. Gu and scheduled the follow up for August 8, 2021. DR Gu saw me that day he had no copies of my hospitalization or why he was seeing me. After less than 5 minutes he said to schedule a follow up appointment and he would get my records from the hospital. so I scheduled the appointment for follow up to hospitalization for stroke and never receive the services that I scheduled. Receive a bill for new patient Mod-High for $122.54. I have called twice to say I did not get the service I scheduled so not going to pay for something that I did not receive. was told that this was the medicare discounted price. If that is the case there must be a lot of federal medicare fraud going on. Stay clear of the MALKA Institute
