Stay away from this doctor he missed diagnosed my husband with a simple stress test two days later my husband was dead. But yet he goes to his family every night and he’s still able to practice must be nice to have insurance

Utmost respect for Doctor Chalavarya. However, when attempting to assist a friend, who unfortunately, has a disability. It became apparent to me, the nursing staff at his office not only lacks in knowledge base, but lacks in human compassion. From a RN with 30 years experience in Cardiac Care.

My husband was treated by this Doctor from 2016 to 2019, for Afib. What this doctor never told him was that he also had mitral valve prolapse. Never mentioned it to us, and it almost killed him. I would give him one star but I have to choose something so he is a 0 minus.

He and he s staff would just as soon let a patient die than to allow them to have much needed tests done anywhere but at their own facility....FIRED!!!

Dr Chalavarya is a wonderful doctor. Very patient and caring. His office staff is amazing. Can't imagine going anywhere else.

I have no idea if Dr. Chalavarya is competent because I never got to see him. I arrived early for a 9am appointment, and was left in an examination room alone from 9:15 to 10:10. Since I had sat in the exam room for close to an hour with no update from the staff, I went out to ask what was the hold up. I was told that the doctor hadn't even arrived at the office as yet. I left. Dr. Chalavarya may or may not be a good cardiologist, but his and his staff's rude disregard for their patient's time doesn't give me a good feeling about his ability to have the kind of doctor/patient relationship I desire. It implies arrogance, and in my experience arrogant doctors rarely really listen to their patients. I will note that aside from leaving me alone with no update on the doctor's delay, his staff was very pleasant and efficient.

Great Cardiologist

When I moved to Hudson from New Jersey to retire I had a heart attack needing a pacemaker defibrillator due to afib I needed . a cardiologist and Dr Gopal Chalavarya was recommended to me by a neighbor who is a nurse at hospital. When I went to his office he spent 30-40 minutes with me explaining everything to me. He till spends all the time needed whenever I have follow-up appointments. I definitely recommend him since I am still alive and he still explains everything so I understand it.
