Was told to be there at 830am for 9am appt. Didn't get seen until 11 AM She seems like a sweet lady and when she started listening to my history said oh you have a very long history I don't have time for this! I have other patients. :( really made me feel like I didn't matter went to her for a second opinion in opinion because she was recommended from another doctor and friend. Then did not order any tests only added one medication and said I'll see you in 8 weeks. When she said I have other patients to say that she did not have time for me that was the most horrible thing you can do that someone is depressed about their condition Of 20 years. Extremely disappointed. She didn't care about my history and when she checked me over she kept contradicting what I told her. She asked if a certain joint hurt and I said yes she says no I said I said yes this went on at least 15 times. This made me more Depressed not listening. If you have a new patient you should review their chart ahead of time and allow enough time to see them not make them wait 2 and a 1/2 hours and then tell them you don't have time for them and not do any tests because you don't have time to fully review and say come back in 8 weeks. ☹️💔
Excellent always worth the wait.
Extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!
The first people you will me is Jill, and Theresa they were super sweet really friendly. Dr. Soto is one of the most thorough and really just nice person I’ve ever met, it was a pleasure to meet them all and she really took her time and was so thorough. Most thorough exam I think I’ve ever had.
PCP sent a referral for me to this office. They never contacted me to schedule an appointment. So, I attempted to reach out via phone. It was extremely difficult to get through on the phone. I kept receiving a message that my call could not be completed, tried from a cell and landline, and had to call over 10 times to get it to ring and for an actual person to answer. The woman I spoke with was not very friendly either and then proceeded to tell me that the first new patient appointment available is August! That’s absurd! Also, not sure why she asked what insurance I had prior to telling me that there were no appointments for 6 months- seems suspicious. 6 months to wait for an appointment? Doesn’t seem like they give the best level of care, especially after reading other reviews. I never write reviews before I experience a place/office firsthand but this was just ridiculous.
Dr. Soto-Aguilar is kind and compassionate. She cares for her patients as a whole, not just the autoimmune issues. The office visits take a long time but that is because she is so thorough.
I had been sick for a long time, seeing many doctors and all kinds of exams and diagnoses. until she managed to diagnose me, she is a very good doctor and her staff is wonderful!
I do not recommend this doctor if you have moderate to severe chronic pain/unknown autoimmune disease/disease or condition. I have Fibromyalgia with ongoing chronic pain. I have seen more specialists in my life than most people see in 3 lifetimes. I have never had such a hard time getting calls back, getting communication, getting information and prompt blood work in my life. I tried for several days to get a call back from a nurse. I am in severe pain. My calls are not returned and good luck getting someone in the office because they always have an answering service answering phones. One evening when I was in tears because of the pain (technically they were still open but once again had their phones forwarded), one of the answering service receptionist took my message as urgent and paged the doctor. Never heard from her. I just discovered I have an autoimmune disease but we don’t know which one yet. She ordered one set of blood tests a while ago, results have been back for quite a while, she never called me with the results, I had to figure it out myself, never heard anything back from her or her staff. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me that she wants me to wait till my appointment 3 MONTHS from now to go further. I have an unknown autoimmune disease and Fibromyalgia that are destroying my life and you want me to wait for 3 months to get another bloodwork script...? You have to be out of your mind. Where is your sense of urgency? What about “do no harm”? What about my quality of life? That is simply neglect. I am suffering and nobody can call me back to add or adjust my meds. Nobody and I mean nobody returns my calls, no matter when I call, how many times I call, or how much pain I’m in. They just don’t care, they are so important that they can’t call me back.. Finally just called today and told the receptionist “I am a very patient person but I have had enough. We need to do something. I’m suffering. I need help now. Please help me.” Nobody ever called me back. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Unbelievable how little they care about my chronic pain that may keep me from graduating, holding a full time job and living my life. I don’t know how they are still in business or how they sleep at night. Disgusting excuse for a doctor and doctor’s office as a whole.
After seeing a few other Rheumatologists & Immunologists, I started seeing Dr Soto-Aguilar in Jan 2018. She was highly recommended by my Cardiologist & Hematologist and I have been impressed with her. You will be at your appt for a good while, as she is very thorough with her exam & medical history. She is an excellent Dr who generally cares for her patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
