List of Maria Soto-Aguilar's Reviews
Dr. Soto-Aguilar is the most compassionate physician I have ever been to. She cares about the whole person. The visits are long because she is so thorough. If you want to have a rheumatologist who really cares about you, she is the one to see. I don't mind driving further for the medical care I receive there.
Was told to be there at 830am for 9am appt. Didn't get seen until 11 AM She seems like a sweet lady and when she started listening to my history said oh you have a very long history I don't have time for this! I have other patients. :( really made me feel like I didn't matter went to her for a second opinion in opinion because she was recommended from another doctor and friend. Then did not order any tests only added one medication and said I'll see you in 8 weeks. When she said I have other patients to say that she did not have time for me that was the most horrible thing you can do that someone is depressed about their condition Of 20 years. Extremely disappointed. She didn't care about my history and when she checked me over she kept contradicting what I told her. She asked if a certain joint hurt and I said yes she says no I said I said yes this went on at least 15 times. This made me more Depressed not listening. If you have a new patient you should review their chart ahead of time and allow enough time to see them not make them wait 2 and a 1/2 hours and then tell them you don't have time for them and not do any tests because you don't have time to fully review and say come back in 8 weeks. ☹️💔
Excellent always worth the wait.
Extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone!
I have not found another doctor like Dr. Soto-Aguilar. She is quite knowledgeable and thorough. She takes her time with you and really listens. The office visits run a bit long but that is because she gives each patient the time and attention that he or she needs. She demonstrates concern about the 'whole' person.
She is so nice and really cares about her patients. She will even fight the insurance companies to fight for approval of needed medications. All I can say is that she is wonderful.
PCP sent a referral for me to this office. They never contacted me to schedule an appointment. So, I attempted to reach out via phone. It was extremely difficult to get through on the phone. I kept receiving a message that my call could not be completed, tried from a cell and landline, and had to call over 10 times to get it to ring and for an actual person to answer. The woman I spoke with was not very friendly either and then proceeded to tell me that the first new patient appointment available is August! That’s absurd! Also, not sure why she asked what insurance I had prior to telling me that there were no appointments for 6 months- seems suspicious. 6 months to wait for an appointment? Doesn’t seem like they give the best level of care, especially after reading other reviews. I never write reviews before I experience a place/office firsthand but this was just ridiculous.
The first people you will me is Jill, and Theresa they were super sweet really friendly. Dr. Soto is one of the most thorough and really just nice person I’ve ever met, it was a pleasure to meet them all and she really took her time and was so thorough. Most thorough exam I think I’ve ever had.
Dr. Soto-Aguilar is kind and compassionate. She cares for her patients as a whole, not just the autoimmune issues. The office visits take a long time but that is because she is so thorough.
I had been sick for a long time, seeing many doctors and all kinds of exams and diagnoses. until she managed to diagnose me, she is a very good doctor and her staff is wonderful!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
