Juan Puerto's Online Review Report Card

Had an appointment to do our immigration paper I-693; they turned us down for being 10 mins late and they only have a 15 min late policy. Not friendly, the office manager/nurse is rude. The office was empty and they made excuses that they had another appointment and they could not see us. Don’t waste you time, they charge $500 cash for I-693 forms to be completed and they don’t give the vaccines you need for immigration purposes. Go to department of health to get your vaccines first for $248 and then go to “Sunshine Medical & Therapy Center” doctor is friendly and speaks Spanish - $395 for I-693 and it takes a week for labs to come back. Do not visit Juan R. Puerto because he office is rude and very unprofessional…

I can’t say enough positive things about about Dr. Puetro- having had a lot of bad experiences with doctor’s in the past so I know better to appreciate a good doctor when I’ve found one. Dr. Puetro takes his time to explain things to me thoroughly to the extent where he’ll pull out diaphragms. I also really appreciate that he will suggest holistic options through his medicine practice. He does prescribe me medication for certain health issues but he will also always suggest food that contains the nutrients that I need before he suggests supplements. He takes his time with me and takes my health seriously. I highly recommend Dr. Puetro and so thankful to him and his staff.

One of the nurses was nice, professional and informative. The rest of the nurses were rude and the Dr. I never met. I was denied any assistance without even being seen by the so called Dr. Could it be that I am a black male? I don't know. I wasn't given a reason I can only assume. Glad I didn't pay up front for nothing. So, its just a bias Dr with rude nurses. And GOD willing I'll find the help I need somewhere else. It's sad cause I am born and raised in Immokalee, so I'm accustomed to this type of treatment in Naples but not at home. So it hit kinda hard.

They didn't even look for my medical record, or give me a physical or even talked to me personally. Just refused me based on a questionnaire I was given.

Great Doctor and very informative. It's nice to have a doctor who cares. We appreciate the work and dedication he's given to Immokalee.

Dr. Puerto is an excellent doctor with a caring and informative bedside manner. The staff is well organized and good natured. They keep the office immaculately clean. They are accommodating with scheduling. Dr. Puerto and his staff have truly shown the height of professionalism during the Covid-19 pandemic. They have put their patients’ health and safety first. There is no finer doctor in our area.

Rude ladies working there...

I was going to do my DOT physical but There’s some rude people!

Called for an appointment and a woman known as Alex Padilla had answered the phone, and was completely rude. I called and asked if she could do it today, and she said in a rude tone, "we're only taking appointments starting next Monday", to which I said "Ok, are you sure theres no way to do it today?", and she then said in a higher tone in the same rude manner, " we're are only taking appointments starting next Monday", and then I had replied "that was rude", to which she said "I'm not being rude, you are".As someone who delivers customer service, I except the amount of care and kindness I show you, NOT anything less. STOP being rude, because it makes you look unprofessional. I've done my appointments here in the past, but instead of actually talking, I was always formal, so now I know, DO NOT extend the amount of time you talk to them. Just do what you have to do, and go. Hope to see improved customer service in the future.
