He’s Concerned about his own status not the client. My PCP sent me to him. First appointment he said, “I don’t know what you want. I don’t have any happy pills.” I don’t pills. I want to heal. Obviously, he’s not helpful. Nor is he compassionate or caring. The staff are also unprofessional.

Terrible Doctor! On my first visit with this quack he prescribed me a cocktail 4 different medications after a short 10 minute interview. He's the professional though and we're supposed to trust him. Yeah, right. If you don't want more problems added to your already problematic life? Don't Go To This Guy! I'd avoid going to any place he's affiliated with too. They're all the same. Psychiatric Medicine is a sham in this country. It's all about the money.

If you have any medical education, research what medicine you are going to be putting in your body, or ask about side effects you are experiencing, he might not be the doctor for you.

This guy has a Dr. Doom personality mixed with a know it all attitude that will eventually result in a patients unfortunate suicide/death. Nothing you tell him is accurate, he knows better so just shut up and take these meds. The Medical Board, a person of authority or someone he trusts needs to sit down with him and dispense a dose of attitude adjustment to Dr. Mehta.

If I were a lawyer I'd sue this guy. Terrible Doctor. Psychiatric care in this country is a pathetic joke.

Time to retire Mehta.. you caused enough damage around here.

Let me say I have no issue stating that I have had to go and see a psychiatrist. I witnessed my dog being killed three years ago and life hasn't been the same since. This doctor had zero compassion. Took $160.00 dollars upfront which I had no issue paying because normally on an initial visit the doctor spends some time getting to know you. Well this was not the case here I was in and out in 10 minutes tops and when I tried to bring up the dog situation he just said oh Maltese they are small aren't they? That was it. Then when I told him about my OCD he went on to explain why he found OCD funny... okay... So thus I've cancelled the follow up appointment and intend to see how long my insurance is billed for since I'm sure it will be longer than I was in there because they collected the large sum up front. How uncaring and awful this man was. I'm sure he sees lots of nuts in his line of work but this was just plain wrong.

Dr. Mehta was the first psychiatrist I've ever seen that was rude and appeared unfamiliar with how to assist me. I suffer from years of panic disorder and depression. He said there was no medication that could help and sent me to a counselor. Very short appointment. Since then I have found another psychiatrist that is patient and understanding of the care his patients needs.

I have seen Dr. Mehta for a long time. He is very good at listening and making sure that you see things logically when your mind might not be intrepreting things correctly. He knows his medicine and works with you to find out what best suits you. I have suffered with anxiety and panic attacks for over 20 years. Under his supervision with meds I hardly ever have an anxious thought and I cant remember the last time I had a panic attack.
