Brian Slaby's Online Review Report Card

I selected Dr Slaby based on his reviews on all sites and the fact that he practiced sports medicine along with his family practice. I was very impressed with Dr Slaby on my initial visit. I had to wait maybe 20 minutes in the waiting room and a few more in the exam room but when he came in, it was evident that he had been reviewing the medical history I provided. He had made notes and asked questions and got to know me as a patient and a person. He renewed my prescriptions, administered my knee injections, and said we would do bloodwork on the next visit in three months along with some standard diagnostics. The first visit was over an hour one-on-one with the doctor. My second visit today went well. The doctor explained the labs and diagnostic testing and highlighted a thing or two to watch. Then we discussed knee treatments to see if better results could be obtained without resorting to surgery just yet. Again, time spent with the doctor was about an hour of conversation regarding my health issues. I didn't feel rushed in any way. I felt that I had Dr Slaby's full attention and he answered ALL of my questions. I am very pleased with my choice. Also, when mentioning his name to people I have met in other doctor's offices, they smile their approval.

Easy appt. Setup. Great office staff. Very knowledgeable, competent Doctor. Takes the time to explain and the time to listen to your medical issues.

My sister just informed me that when she took my 89 year old mother to the office today neither the nurses nor Dr Slaby wore masks. I am infuriated that they could be so callous to the welfare of their patients! My mother is extremely fragile and if she gets covid she will DIE!! I am appalled and disgusted.

My husband and I are new to the area and we're looking for a doctors office for the future. We found dr Slabys office. It was close with good reviews. We filled out our paperwork and we're told we needed an appt to establish that we are patients so we could be seen in the future. We went to this appointment and were told they'll be right back with us we sat in the parking lot for 25 minutes and then called to be sure we weren't forgotten. The very rude woman from the front desk said we were verifying your insurance and just got done we said so are you ready for us and she said no. Another woman stuck her head out the door and said by the way your deductible hasn't been met it's $200 for today's visit for you. Which means they were going to charge us $400 for a meet and greet?This was a horrible experience we said cancel this appointment and called the insurance company to be sure that no one gets billed for this. They were rude late and then blamed us! Admittedly we never saw the doctor he could be great but the staff stunk!

I have been a patient of Dr.Slaby for many years. He spends all the time with you that you need and is very compassionate and he doesn't feel the waiting room up like cattle and make you wait forever to be seen. Have never waited over 5 to 10 min. His staff is wonderful and you are treated like family. We are so lucky to have them here in Inverness.

Dr. Slaby has been my doctor since2007. He always takes time to listen, considers my opinion, and discusses treatment and medication options with me.

I have known Dr. Slaby for only a few years. Through our church first, then as a primary care physician. He has shown nothing b it compassion and understanding and well as his staff. I feel very fortunate to find a Doctor of this caliber in Inverness (Citrus County). Thank you!

He is an excellent doctor, talks to you for as long as you need, very caring, compassionate, I've only had as good of care with one other Doctor in my lifetime.
