Carlos Govantes's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Govantes was my fathers PCP for many years. I never got to meet Dr. Govantes as I am in Miami, but my father spoke very well of him. With my fathers recent passing; Dr. Govantes reached out to me for his condolences and shared many great memories of my dad, clarified his health with me and expressed his wishes for the day he would pass. My dad did not take on technology, but he sure knew about "Reviews" and asked me to leave a review on here for his primary care doctor that he considered a friend. Dr. Govantes has provided exceptional care and patience with my father and during his care. My father said he always felt welcome and safe under his care. His staff was always remarkable and he was forever grateful to have found Dr. Govantes so many years ago. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring and reliable primary care doctor; check him out. You will not be disappointed. Good luck to Dr. Govantes, his staff and all patients current and new.

very poor nureses are not pleasnt when i call its very uncomfortable to even talk to a nurse i was asking about the referal for my husband cause i have not herad from them she though i was yelling i was not.................i was just asking questions they need to learn how to talk so i asked her why was she yelling any way thats why they lost a customer............................ most of all we will miss the doctor he was k

Great Dr. takes the time to discuss issues. Staff are friendly and efficient. Not hard to be seen when you're sick.

I love the doctor, Hate the staff!! He keeps hiring rude girls for the front desk. Their not only rude in person, but you can hear them on the phone being nasty with patients. What a shame, because he is a good doctor!

Dr ok. Nice enough. Listens. Christine was soooo rude to me the other day. I called to ask about something in my medical file and she jumped all over me. I called back and asked what that was all about and she jumped on me some more. No one should have to take this from anyone. I can’t tolerate rude service.

Dr. Govantes always takes time to sit and listen to me about any issues or concerns I may have. I never feel rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr Govantes for the past four years and I’m so thankful I found this amazingly kind, patient and thorough physician. Dr Govantes takes his time with you and really listens to the concerns or issues you’re experiencing. He thoroughly explains an issue, offers options and recommendations. He has a wonderful sense of humor and puts you at ease from the moment he enters the room which helps you better explain your reason for the visit. His staff couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. Tracey his nurse has been there since I began going there, and she’s also is a very kind and patient person. Any time I’ve called the office when I was sick they got me in to see the doctor, or refilled prescriptions that had run out almost immediately. I’ve watched the staff interact with patients many of whom are older with compassionate care and understanding! This doctor and his staff really care about your healthcare, and I thank God I was fortunate enough to have found them because of a friend’s recommendation whose been a patient there for 16 years!

Another doctor recommended Dr. Govantes to us because he is this doctor's personal physician. It was a great recommendation!!!
