List of Charles Prentice's Reviews
Wry thorough, able to explain and answer all my questions. Followed up with necessary testing. Took his time didn’t rush me. Excellent!
I agree 100 %-Rude and arrogant!
In a world where physicians spend less and less time really getting to know their patients, this physician stands out as a shining star. He takes the time and effort to get to know every aspect of a patient's medical condition and to understand each patient as a unique human being. It is clear that he is truly caring and compassionate. He has a wonderful command of Internal Medicine and does not hesitate to refer to other specialists when appropriate.
disappointed in him, he missed a very serious disease for my loved one.
He is careful in his analysis. Wish he would explain more.
Believe Dr. Prentice is a very good Dr., but his assistant is brusque, rude, combative, argumentative, a poor listener, and takes offense at any comment she feels questions her actions. When she took my blood pressure, I commented that it was higher than I was getting on my home monitor. She immediately took this a criticism of her ability to take BP readings where no criticism was intended angrily stating how competent she was at performing this procedure and that home BP testers are notoriously unreliable. She carries a chip on her shoulder to go along with her overly inflated ego, and is more than enough reason for one to seek another Dr. However, should you go, and if you have Medicare, beware on your first visit, Because assistant failed to have me sign a form acknowledging that Medicare might not cover the costs (the amount of which was over and above a regular visit). Medicare subsequently declined the charges for essentially a hands-on physical exam minus blood tests ($370), and said that Dr. knew or should have known that form was required, holding him responsible for non-payment. I had intended to discuss this with Dr. @ my upcoming appointment and see if we could work out an amicable and equitable resolution. I had every intention of paying something for his services even though his assistant was negligent in asking me to sign the form. Never given the opportunity as she called to say she was cancelling my appointment, and that I should go elsewhere. Dr. not only lost a patient, but lost the opportunity to be paid a negotiated fee. Wonder if Dr. knows that a shrew is inhabiting his office? If not, he needs to know and replace her @ the first opportunity. Wonder just how many others have had a similar experience.?
Doctor Prentice is a professional in all aspects, definitely a patient advocate and goes the extra mile to get to know the patient and develop a good relationsip with his patients.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
