Dennis Walker's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Dennis J. Walker has been my cardiologist since I moved to this area in 2018. He has a great bedside manner and was referred by my primary care physician. . He listens carefully and takes the time to hear exactly what is going on with my heart health. His staff is great as well and I am do happy have Dr Walker as my cardiologist.

I would give Dennis Walker negative 10 stars if I could. While waiting at Citrus Cardiology on 9/27/22 I overheard him say to a patient “we don’t need to do all of those tests (patient requested an EKG) wasting taxpayers money. My tax dollars.” The patient, an African American woman said, “I work at — I have insurance and Medicare.” No patient should have to explain their credentials in order to receive treatment. I will be reporting Dennis Walker to the board, and blasting him on every social media platform. Bigots like you Dennis Walker do not belong in healthcare.

This doctor almost killed my father. He missed the fact that my father had a rare heart disease and acted as if his atrial fibrillation was normal. My father had seen him 2 days before he ended up in the hospital with with a liter of fluid on his lungs and Dr Walker tried to say he had been clear when he saw him. This doctor needs to retire. He’s just there collecting a paycheck and doing as little as possible. My father saw him for 10 years and he missed so many things. We switched cardiologist and within 2 visits the new cardiologist figured out what was wrong and sent my father to a specialist. If I could give this Dr zero stars I would.

Been waiting now for a call about after several times of calling for my heart monitor results and still no return call. Thankfully, my primary referred me to another heart doctor. Will take my heart health care elsewhere.

Dr. Walker puts his patient at ease even when the prognosis may not be what you want to hear. He looks at you when examining you rather than at a computer. He keeps the patient at the forefront of his examination and works with other physicians in diagnosing illnesses.

Dr. Walker has wonderful bedside manners and we would highly recommend him. He is very thorough reviewing any problems and his staff is prompt and efficient.

Dr. Walker is my Cardiologist and has been for quite some time,he is easy to talk to and really listens to my concerns,he too has empathy,such an important quality in a doctor! I am very impressed by his willingness to listen to whatever I have to say. He will never make you feel pressured into making a medical decision for a procedure you are not yet sure of, he does explain though all the details so you can make an informed decision. He is available if and when I need him ,I appreciate that.!

i would choose this doctor again, recommend him to a friend or stranger, feel his expertise is always shining bright and my comfort and ease with his presense has been the same over the past couple years as his patient and he as my trusted doctor and friend.

Dr. Walker is the most compassionate physician I've ever met. He takes time to discuss my condition and options. He is incredibly knowledgable and makes me feel at ease. I would encourage anyone needing a heart doctor to visit Dr. Walker!!
