The OB staff was fantastic.

My wife and I were in a serious car accident and taken here. They never did a headtotoe exam on either of us. While I was not as badly injured my wife was. They did xray and splint her broken wrist but never took a look or examined the multiple large bruises on her torso. One on her side may very well be a broken rib. While I appreciate the fact that it was busy there and that the staff seemed caring and probably quite tired it doesnt excuse not doing a complete headtotoe exam to determine the full extent of injuries especially on such a serious car accident. I served in the Navy as a hospital corpsman and this is basic medicine 101.

I was a CNA for Citrus Memorial hospital from 20182020. my career as a CNA ended abruptly when I was hurt on the job in October of 2020. Per my supervisor I went straight to the ER and was sent home. I went through months of physical therapy and an epidural to try to alleviate the injury I sustained but nothing helped. I ended up taking a settlement agreement because I was not making enough on workers compensation to pay my bills. It is now November 2021 and I have been notified that Citrus Memorial hospital is coming after me for tuition reimbursement for one semester which I have been trying to determine for months if me being forced to leave the job is in the contract for me to have to pay back. To put the icing on top of the cake I am being charged for my workers compensation visit to the ER. That balance not only is still being asked for me to pay but it is now in collections with a third party company. I have made countless phone calls attempting to resolve this to no avail. What Citrus Memorial Hospital is doing us not only immoral but it is also illegal. I do not recommend them at all.

I took my husband to the ER after a car accident to get checked out. They took us back to the quick care part of the ER around 6pm. The nurse in the quick care center was amazing. The NP ordered CT scans he had around 20 mins after we went back to the quick care area. At 9pm we STILL did NOT have results from any of the testing because the radiologist hadnt read it. The NP wanted to check for internal bleeding and we just sat there waiting. The NP went to lunch and the nurse said some other Dr would come go over everything but wanted to let us now the results were all negative. At 930 the Dr STILL did not come give us any formal results. The nurse apologized and said again that the results were negative went over some discharge instructions and told us we could go if we wanted because she didnt know why the Dr had not come in yet. If it was not for that nurse I would give this ER 1 star. Could you imagine if there WAS something wrong with the scans Never again.

The wait time AS USUAL was ridiculously long. It wasnt even that crowded

Well....I walked out alive upright and mobile. Although....I was taken for a 2nd head scan...when I got back to room I was told it had been canceled. So....a 2nd unnecessary head scan was taken that was not needed. So I feel my insurance co. nor I should not have to pay for it. Or maybe its such a trivial test no one will care. Anyway...I will change my eating habits. And I am already very active keeping our property well maintained and helping my Neighbors as well w their property.

I have always had a positive experience at the SMW Sugarmill WoodsCitrus Memorial Hospital physical therapy center. The staff is friendly and helpful in every way. Highly recommend them for any rehabilitative needs.

My husband and I moved to Citrus County in March 2020 and we have used the services at Citrus Memorial Hospital several times since our move. I am pleased to report we have received excellent care at the hospital from the doctors nurses and technicians. I noticed many of the nurses are certified in their specialty which is exemplary. I am a retired registered nurse myself and I know quality care when I see it. CMH delivers quality care. We are happy to have an outstanding healthcare facility right in our backyard
