To busy to see his patient.. send his staff.. Very disappointed

No explanation for the substitution

This office failed to recognize, diagnose, & treat my demodicosis even after my GP stated on my last referral to "Please evaluate and treat for skin lesions in likely seronegative collagen vascular". On my 1st visit I was not allowed to finish my paperwork because the PA was in a hurry. The PA is incompetent & curt. She will stand there, with her hands on her hips, and huffs "pick a spot" ,without recommendation or counsel, for the biopsy. Next visit i was given a referral on a yellow post it.

I would love to see Dr. Pruett, as I've heard great things about him. However from the first time I called the office and spoke to Allison, it's been a struggle. She definitely could have been nicer. I went for my first appointment and they said they couldn't verify my insurance, it really didn't make much sense to me but I couldn't private pay and so I left. Just a week later, I was seen by a different Doctor, with no problem. Now, today again, Allison says she can't verify my insurance.

Dr. Pruett saved my life.

I have an out of state BCBS plan and I emailed them copies of my insurance card and they got approval and made the appointment. I went in and they asked again for the card. I showed them the card on my phone and they demanded I give them the plastic card which is located home in another state. They said they have to have the card or I can go home and get it and reschedule or pay full price for their services. They never told me this ridiculous policy up front. They already had the approval! The receptionist was nasty and rude. I'll drive to Miami before I step back in this office!

at annual check up i was asked how long a spot had been on my face. i responded by asking whether the spot had been there on my previous visit and was told they do not make specific notes like that.

A very caring and competent Doctor! Highly recommend!

Dr. And his nurse laughed at me when I decscribed my symptoms. He didn't want too listen was in a hurry. Told me wrong thing and gave me medicine that made my skin worse.

Staff not so understanding to geriatric patients, a bit condescending and in a rush. For goodness sake, so many older people need a dermatologist for skin diagnosis, but these people seem to really de-value older patients. Rush, rush, rush, get 'em in, get 'em out, crush as many patients as possible into the shortest appointment times. Such a shame - if they slowed down a bit, really took the time to listen to patient's concerns, it could be a good experience. Not only would the patients feel better, but the staff might be happier without all the rushing.
