I just had my MRI done today at this location it was very nerve-racking because I am very claustrophobic but the lady there made me feel so much better she talked me through it and gave her experience about it which kept me calm through the full 20 to 25 minutes. I think her name was Lee so if you have to come here to have your MRI done definitely ask and she’ll be the one to help out.

The Advanced Diagnostic in Lakeland was the Best in Customer Service, how clean and bright the place is. Everyone is so positive there. I had two MRI's there and the two gentlemen were so professional, considerate, extremely good with injecting the dye. You could not ask for a all round better place. Plus the MRI room has a TV to watch. The Advance Diagnostic on Kennedy Blvd. in Tampa is dirty, creepy with very poor service. Three people at the front deck and no one even acknowledged me for 30 min. And I had an appt. An hour later I finally went in for my MRI scheduled at the time. The room was dark, hot and was not offered any braces to help keep my arms and head still for an hour. Never to go back to that place again. Owners need to visit there to see how dirty the outside and inside of the place is. Staff needs to be replaced with caring professional people.

The lady that was doing my MRI was very nice but i did NOT know what i was getting myself into. The actual MRI is terrifying! Not their fault i suffer from anxiety but it would have been nice to get a heads up.. I would have given them 5stars but i had to call them because they did not apply my secondary insurence and i find it annoying and WAISTFUL(paper bill) that i have to waist my time to call them and tell them they didnt apply it.. Not sure why everyone is giving me such a hard time about it but its keeping me from bothering with doc offices unless im dying.

Just had MRI on my lower back. It was a terrifying experience. I am obese and the machine seems extra small. I felt the inside tube pressing on my arms as I went in. I was unaware that the MRI was open at the other end because I had my eyes closed at first. I almost did not make it through because as soon as I was crunched inside the machine I began to panic, breathing heavy, and feeling like I could not get enough air. The entire experience was only about 10 minutes. About half way through I managed to open my eyes and look backwards and I saw the opening behind my head and this seemed to calm me down some. I felt like I could get out if I had too. I was uncomfortable and panicked for the most part. I think for obese people, they probably need a larger machine or maybe it was just me...

I am pleased that the office is free of air fresheners and the soap in the lavatory is low scent. The staff is very professional.
