Amelia Urgent Care's Online Review Report Card

The staff was rude and extremely slow. We had to fill out several pages of redundant paperwork. We were charged a hefty co-pay when we verified that our insurance provider would cover it. All for a simple Covid test. It took nearly three hours to get two children tested. We won’t be back, and will strongly discourage anyone from ever going there. There are too many other options in this area to deal with the lack of professionalism at Amelia Urgent Care.Todd Robbins

As a brand new patient, the wait was not long and I arrived a half hour early to fill out the necessary paperwork. The staff was very professional and did an exceptional job. I would recommend this location to other Service Members.

Look for a testing center more specific, "urgent" cares are horrible for job drug testing. The staff is kind.Once again, I forgot to check reviews first. If you're going here for a work drug test, Quest Diagnostics is right next door, use them. Amelia Urgent care is horrible for such a simple process.Well over an hour and still waiting. Of course you come to a place ready to do the test and then you have to dance.

Great experience every time our family needs urgent care! Thanks to the nice young lady at the check-in desk . Special thanks to Dr. McDonough and Nurse Patti who provided my son excellent and timely care despite how busy the clinic was on yesterday.

Brought my daughter here for a last minute college physical. My fault for last minute, however I was told the fee was 25.00 on the phone, we get here and its now 75.00. You pay first then wait to be seen. Lady comes out and says she will have to see if someone can do the physical since there isn't a doctor or PA in the building. Had an appointment for tonight with Carespot, but canceled to spend my sons birthday with him tonight. Waiting now to see what happens since we paid first.

I was seen by Nurse Practitioner- Cheryl. She was wonderful. Very thorough and caring and took time to go over everything discussed. I recommend Amelia Urgent Care. Everyone there was very nice. Will definitely go back if needed.

Thanks for providing me with excellent service this has been my second time going to this facility and both time they provided outstanding results. However due to the pandemic I was apprehensive regarding wait time. But I was reassured that my wait time would be limited. I was seen by Mr. Lance Atkinson MD he informed me of my condition and provided additional information for preventive care. He was very patient and took the time provided sound advice. THEY WILL LET YOU DIE! DO NOT GO HERE! After being stung by a wasp, yes I am allergic, I took myself to the nearest facility for help. I stood at the counter, my throat continues to swell, I am dizzy and light headed, the attendant finally shows up. With great despair, I explained what happened, she then got up, went to the back, returned and told me they couldn’t help me that I just needed to go around the corner to the hospital. As this point I could barely stand. I again told her I was by myself and asked her why I was being turned away, I NEEDED HELP IMMEDIATELY. After that, everything was a blur! Thankfully, I somehow did manage to get myself to the hospital....don’t remember that part but SHAME ON THIS PLACE! Hindsight, the least they could have done is call an ambulance for me. If I had died....that’s a serious lawsuit!

Is it possible to give zero stars? THREE trips up there to get my DOT physical done and still haven't gotten one yet. I even called ahead to ask about their hours. I go after work today, they stated I could not get it done after 3 even though they said they are open until 7 and closed at 5!!

This location will not answer their phones for anything. I feel as if my calls are being screened by them. Not happy at all with the service I recieved this time around at all.
