Ankit Desai's Online Review Report Card

I'm thankful for Dr Desai's treatment and post care. I consulted with Dr Desai after receiving a breast cancer triple negative diagnosis. I knew I wanted a double mastectomy but he time, I wasn't interested in breast reconstruction. Friends and coworkers encouraged me to proceed with the breast reconstruction. I made the decision for breast reconstruction surgery. Dr Desai's medical knowledge and experience was very advanced. He would ask me if I understood my medical treatment plan and would re-explain procedures and plan of action on several occasions. He would ask me questions regarding my treatment selections. With Dr Desai, I had full breast reconstruction, nipple sparing & the scars are on th outside of my breasts. My breast implants are 8 years old. I wore a sport bra faithfully for 6 years. Now, that I work from home not so much. Pre-surgery, I didn't know what to expect but I'm glad my initial hesitation for reconstruction was short lived due to support from friends, coworkers & Dr Desai. I was totally amazed that Dr Desai invested so much of his time, experience, knowledge and medical abilities in the care & wellness of breast cancer survivors! I was a 34A after breast implants, I'm a 34C. I was concerned about jogging but no problems. I wear a sport bra and a sport top because I'm trying to resist gravity as long as possible. I would recommend Dr Ankit Desai for breast reconstruction surgery.

Dr. Desai is an excellent plastic surgeon and I really respect him, his work, and the rest of his team as well. I had reconstructive surgery after a double mastectomy and felt like I was receiving the best care through my whole experience. If I had any questions or concerns, they were handled right away with a quick response. My recovery was smooth and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I am truly thankful that he’s in this profession and others in my situation can benefit from his gifted ability.

Dr. Desei is phenomenal! I had a bilateral mastectomy in September. I am now waiting for the reconstructive surgery. He is so informative and his bedside manner is phenomenal! He is very patient and answers all my questions. I AM SO PLEASED I CHANGED DOCTORS AND WENT WITH HIM! He was just a second opinion but I knew when I met him I made the right choice. I can't wait to get these tissue expanders out and get my permanent ones. He does very precise work ! Oh, and please lets not forget his entire staff! The minute you walk in the doors you are treated like family! Everyone is sooo sweet!!! Again, so glad I switched!!

Absolutely Exceptional. Dr. Desai was my second opinion and I could not be happier with my overall experience. He treated us like family during the hardest time of my life, breast cancer. I underwent Diep Flap Breast reconstruction instead of implants and I am so happy with my results. The man is litterly an artist because I look so much better now than I did before. No regrets, no complaints. Dr. D is caring, compassionate and I truly feel lucky that he is my Dr. If your reading this Dr. Desai, THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! YOU ROCK!!!!

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Desai & his team. My breast reduction was life-changing and one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. He listened to me, was calming and I’m so happy with the results! His team and office staff are super friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend Dr Desai. I had to have breast reconstruction after my dble mastectomy. Dr Desai did an amazing job that healed with no problems. I seen him in the office several times & he alsways spent time for any of my questions & concerns.

I had breast surgery many years ago for cancer. About 15 years later, the implants leaked and my breasts had been repaired by another physician in another city. Dr. Desai repaired the damage beautifully, and corrected some other skin problems on my breast. I would highly recommend him. He is an excellent surgeon!

I was referred to Dr. Desai after having my daughter. Pregnancy and post partum depression were hard on me: my abdominal muscles herniated, and all the weight from PPD gained in my lower belly (pannus.) I was in so much pain, just walking hurt after 10-15 steps. I met with Dr. Desai and we spoke about my history and what I was looking for. I got very emotional during the consult, and he handed me tissues and said “let’s get you feeling better, lessen the pain, and looking better.” The fact that a cosmetic surgeon put my health over the aesthetics amazed me. He was very kind, warm, and funny. Day of surgery, he came into the pre-op room to draw on me and said “you’re going to lose this tattoo on your hip, okay?” I jokingly said “do I have a choice?” and he laughed and said “Nope!” Post-op healing and first appointment he was amazed how well I was doing and feeling. I asked him tons of questions and he answered them all. His PAs, MAs, scheduler, financial person.... the whole staff has been wonderful this entire experience. I was terrified to get this massive surgery, but I am so glad I did. I have a new lease on life and feel like a brand new woman. Even better, I can play with my daughter and run around after her without pain. Thank you Dr. Desai!!!!
