List of Anthony L. Capasso's Reviews
Was feeling unwell and went to the university health clinic to perform a blood labs. My results showed that I had elevated liver enzymes and cholesterol. I went to dr. Capassos office shortly after and he ordered a second set of labs one of which being a ferritin lab. I also went to 4 other doctors and in total had about 20 samples of blood drawn and tested for various things. Thankfully I saw dr. Capasso because he quickly identified the causes of liver inflammation and put in a lab form request to have ferritin checked. Dr. Capasso found that my ferritin was high and that could be the cause of the liver inflammation. Thankfully I went to his office to get checked. He is a genius and with out a doubt the best physician in Jax beach.
I have been a patient of Dr. Capasso for years now. Ever since Millenium has become involved the service is horrible. I am due for my bloodwork to be reviewed and cant even get the orders. In March I was told they would be submitted. I showed up at Quest and was told there were no orders. I called back on May 18 and was told that they would submit them again. So I showed up to Quest on May 20. Lo and behold no orders in their system. I called back on May 20 to ask that they send them to me in the mail so I could take them with me to Quest. Still havent gotten them. Today I called and was advised they would create the order and send it in the mail.
We moved to Jacksonville PVB just before the 911 attacks on the WTC in 2001. I watched on TV from our temporary rental on the beach while on the phone with a dear friend living in NYC and just after the 1st plane struck. Dr. Capasso was the 2nd person I met in Jacksonville all those years ago the 1st being our Realtor. I absolutely love Dr. Capasso. He has been caring for my family and I almost as long as he has been practicing and you can just tell hes the type of doctor that would give everyone world class care...if not for the destruction of healthcare by insurance companies. As a healthcare professional myself I understand many of the challenges as I experience them firsthand every day.Unfortunately their office became a part of Millennium Physician Group in 2019 a company that posts higher profitability. It should be no surprise that with a profit driven model the patient experience becomes severely affected. Since MPG took over practice management I have had a series of problems most of which remain unresolved and many of which are recurring. From prescriptions that are promised to be refilled and then never get filled for MONTHS or the wrong prescription gets called in or calls that are left in voicemail and never returned theyve fixed this partially by eliminating after hours calls except emergencies altogether or bloodwork that is taken in office and then billing never done even after dozens of calls assuring it has been corrected and patients are the ones getting threatening letters from Quest or the inability of patients to even see Dr. Capasso as their PCP any time they have been involved in a motor vehicle accident or the office simply refusing to provide the contact information for a regional manager to resolve issues the office seems to be ill equipped to handle. Back in 2020 I was finally placed in contact with Casey Jabot Regional Manager for MPG. She was aware of many of the challenges and asked that I be patient as they work through them. She graciously gave me her cell phone and asked that I reach out to her if having any continued issues with the office. I thought this would be the beginning of something beautiful but it was anything but. Since then Casey had been unable to resolve most of the issues relating to staffing and practice management and the issues I had escalated to her mostly went in the circular file. I had the pleasure of interacting with her for the last time today after my mom my spouse and I were all to have to discontinue prescribed medications for months simply because Dr. Capasso didnt have any available appointments until then. To my surprise she asked me to stop escalating issues to her assuming because she had failed so miserably for the past year in resolving most. So I sit here sad sharing this experience and lamenting having to have a real conversation with Dr. Capasso about MPG and perhaps our transition to a new provider that can service our basic healthcare needs.I would encourage you to check out the reviews globally for MPG. They are mostly 13 star throughout the entire state and at all of their various businesses. It seems clear there are significant core issues internally and that they do not have a leadership team dedicated to anything other than $$$.
Dr Capasso was so very thorough and professional every time I’ve seen him A big bonus is the convenience of the store attached to the practice where you can buy supplements that have been recommend. I wouldn’t consider anywhere else
I am blessed to have found this office. Allison is amazing and truly an awesome person. She takes the time to listen and respondexplain everything. Just amazing. Also the staff is amazing. So friendly caring and work very efficiently. Thank you all Patient for life.
Girl on phone was rude put me on hold and left me here for 12 minutes and counting. Don’t support this place.
Amazing physicians office. They actually take the time to listen to what is wrong and get straight to fixing it. Super friendly staff.
I cant say enough great things about Dr. Capasso and his stay
Both Dr. Capasso and Allison Krebs NPC are amazing health care providers. Dr. Capasso really takes the time to educate you and truly cares. Allison has been absolutely wonderful going above and beyond for me. She is someone I can trust and always makes sure all of my questions are answered. My quality of life has improved since seeing her regularly. I like how everyone at the practice is always up to date with the latest information and studies. I have complex hormonal issues that other providers have not been able to treat but now for the first time I feel like I am getting top notch care and am seeing results. I highly recommend them.
Dr. Capasso is a guiding visionary force whose dedication compassion leadership and experience makes him one of the most respected accomplished and most sought after medical professionals in the field of internal and functional medicine. His nurse practitioner Allison is very kind and has a thoughtful approach to care always putting patients first. Thank you for your service This team will find a way to help you feel better

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
