Made me feel embarrassed and unworthy of help I have seen this office twice for my kidneys because about 5 months ago I lost my healthcare coverage. I am 53-years-old and have several ailments that keep me mentally and physically challenged, not to mention that I am taking care of my mother with cancer along with my son who was just diagnosed with the rare Wilson Disease. I'm spent. I did file for SSI to see if they could help me. After receiving that information, Ms. Rose from this office, made me feel like I should be ashamed for doing so. Why didn't she just send her degrading response back to the SSA? Was it necessary to call me and make me feel unworthy? I only put this office down because I had been here before. It is a real shame that you have to be on your deathbed to get help. It's like no one has empathy in this world and assumes everyone is out for a free ride. I just wanted some help--that is all. You will probably cause me to be denied just because you wanted to elicit a power grab over someone who is down and out.
