I have been seeing Doctor Ashraf since 2009. He saved my life. I had stage four non-Hodgkin’s follicular lymphoma. I have had continuous positive results. In my experience, most doctors tell you what they think but they don’t listen to you. It’s very rare to find a doctor that wants to take the time to know you as a person and listen to your needs. I am a cancer survivor.

They should be called Cancer Not Specialists. They called me in to sign paperwork 6 weeks ago so I can get the drug I need to live and they never submitted it to the drug manufacturer. I only found out when I called Pfizer to ask for a refill. Now I'm literally about to run out of the very medication that I can't live without. Also, I've been trying to get them to schedule my scans for 3 months but they always give me excuses as to why they weren't scheduled then they blame me for not having them. They cause unnecessary stress on cancer patients when we already are dealing with so much. I'm not impressed!

My wife just deteriated, she was just feeling sick from her first treatment and never got better . when 2022 came in her insurance changed to an hmo , so they refused treatment so they could verify ,I offered to pay they refused . There financial person is horrible . Knowing my wife was terminal they still offered to give her a last chemo treatment .

I’ve been a patient for 2.5 yrs. I’ve tried for over 2 months to switch Dr. The one I had just wasn’t what I wanted or fit. So for over 2 months. I called the office. I got all Kinds of excuses. I finally got the never today to see a new Dr at MD Anderson. This is how u should b treated.
