Dr Freeman and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Freeman was welcoming, kind and assuring. Glad I went to see him.

In my first encounter with Dr.Freeman I honestly did not feel very welcome. His bedside manner could use some help. I came in with a torn acl and meniscus from a bad fall. Dr.Freeman assumed that my injury came from being obese and he chose to focus on my weight as the issue to my problem luckily I did not have him as a surgeon he referred me to Dr.Kaplan who I must say I had multiple amazing encounters with .

Highest recommendation. Dr. Freeman and JOI are the best. Dr. Freeman is caring and listens and takes time to address all questions or concerns. The staff is also friendly, caring, and helpful. Two hip replacement surgeries went great. Healing and rehab progressed very fast. All prior pain and losses of function are gone. The two new hips are life-changing.

I have been having pain (leg and hip) for almost 4 years and it was progressively worsening. I had seen another Dr at JOI for a year for SI Joint pain. Since the pain and my mobility was worsening he referred me to sports medicine. Dr. Freeman's staff took X-rays at my arrival. His assistant came in and as soon as I saw the X-rays I knew something wasn't right. He diagnosed me with congenital hip dysplasia. At 50 yrs old I needed a total hip replacement. I had my surgery 2/28/23. I feel so much better! I'm still healing, but staying on top of my PT and hope to get back to my workouts by the end of the year. If you have hip pain, do not hesitate to see him. I have zero complaints. He is the best!

. I was referred to Dr Freeman from a fireman that I served with on Jax fire rescue who had total hip replacement surgery performed by Dr Freeman and was back to work in 8 weeks . I easily made a appointment at Jacksonville orthopedic institute with Dr Freeman who quickly put my fears and concerns to rest bye having x-rays of my left hip and right hip putting them on a big screen and going over the obvious difference between the left and right hip with me and why I was in so much pain. How he was going to correct my hip problem with surgery sealed the deal. My 6 weeks post-op appointment with Dr Freeman was today and I could not be happier. The new titanium hip is more than I could have hoped for. No PAIN!!! I have been walking without a walker or a cane since my 4-week post-op visit. My only regret is that I did not do this a year ago.

Dr. Freeman and staff were awesome. Dr Freeman was very caring answered all our questions and concerns. He did a right total hip which had been neglected for about 12 years. I am 7 weeks post-op and back to work on week 4. Just amazing Dr. Thank you Dr Freeman for giving me my ability to stand straight and walk correctly.

The only thing I can say is thank you, Dr. Freeman. Highly recommend I could not have asked for a better outcome.

Here I am at six weeks after my knee replacement. The surgery was performed by Dr. Carl Freemen at JOI Institute in Jacksonville. Let me begin by saying that their facility is impressive: clean, efficient and manned (womaned) by pleasant help. I was treated with patience and at no time did I wait more than ten minutes to be seen. They are a well-oiled machine.

Dr. Freeman is a wonderful Doctor. He took the time to explain my injury and the course of treatment. The surgery went great and he provided me with an App that made it easy to contact him and to start my PT at home and follow a program which helped me toward a quicker recovery. My physical therapist reviewed the app with me each week and approved the exercises. Dr. Freeman was available to return a phone call promptly and has made me feel very confident in him guiding my recovery.

Dr. Freeman is an outstanding doctor and surgeon. He cares about his patients and providing the right solution to their issue. Dr. Freeman evaluated my knee and performed a partial knee replacement which was the right decision for me. The results have been amazing and I can now walk pain free for the first time in months. I would recommend Dr. Freeman to anyone who wants a great doctor that cares about his patients.
