List of Chelsy Marty's Reviews
Dr. Marty is a highly skilled dermatologist whose office is well run, exceptionally cognizant of the threat of contagious disease transmission, and has established protocols that are thoughtful and thoroughly enforced for the benefit of both patient, staff, and those who they eventually come in contact with. The level of professionalism and commitment to the task at hand, as well as the overall health of patients speaks volumes for what the patient can expect. Great medical attention is a scarce commodity in a place in time where demand is high and supply is limited. Patience pays, Dr. Marty and associates are among the very best, worth waiting for if your condition allows.
I've been a patient of Dr Marty's for probably 15 years. Also recommended several people to her. I tried to make an appointment with her for a growth on my face that seems to be accelerating and I was told it would be 2 1/2 months. While I understand this covid mess has backed up physicians some, perhaps prioritize according to whether they are new patients and whether the problem is more urgent than botox. I have not seen the doctor in 3 years because I haven't had any issues. So I suppose my status as a past patient is now out the window based on the reaction I received from the condescending person who answered the phone. Do you really think a potential cancerous lesion is not important enough to see sooner than 2 1/2 months? Yes, the person on the phone offered another PA but I'm interested in seeing the physician for a matter such as this. THey didn't offer to put me on a cancellation list. Dr Marty is a wonderful, down to earth and fabulous person to deal with but sadly, they are turning away loyal patients.
Dr Marty has been my dermatologist for at least 10 years however my latest call to make an appointment was disappointing to say the least. First, their phone system is not working correctly - when you press #1 to make an appointment their system prompt says it's not a valid entry. Secondly, the receptionist who answered the phone could have cared less about it and speaks as if she is talking to a 3rd grader. Thirdly, I called in beginning of August and the "first available appointment" was In October. I'm not a new patient. Not sure why 2 months is appropriate when a patient has an issue, on their face - especially a potentially cancerous lesion. Really poor "customer service".
Dr Marty is a wonderful Dermatologist and I have been her patient for over 10 years. What's disappointing is that you pretty much have to wait a minimum of 2 months to see her. First the phone system is not working correctly - When prompted to make an appointment by pressing #1 , the voicemail says it is not a valid choice. This has been an issue with their system that is evidently by design. The Receptionist seemed to care less about it. Secondly, a potentially cancerous growth on my face warrants seeing a physician probably sooner than 2+ months. I'd even be willing to wait 1 month, but no, I don't want to see another physician or the P.A. when the last 10+ years I've seen Dr Marty. Really disappointing that past patients can't see the same physician.
I really like Dr Marty. However, trying to get to see her is another story. I can never reach a "person" when I call. I wait for approx 3 minutes and am then told to leave a message. On-line contact is not better. I'm going to have to find another doctor with a more responsive staff.
excellent Dr. Best skin check I have ever had.
Dr. Marty is friendly and professional. She always takes time to talk with me and answers questions. I would absolutely recommend her - and have.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
