I had a hip replacement in 2015 and had to have two revisions within two years afterwards. The hardware kept loosening and between the original surgeon and two others after him none of them could figure out why. I found Dr. Sherman and she immediately knew what the problem was and got it fixed. I had been through so much pain it was unbelievable! She's definitely my hero.

She performed surgery on me in 2014 for AVN. It was experimental at that time and it worked. It cured my AVN. She took my own Stem Cells from my pelvis and injected them back into my hip bones. It regrew my bones. She was great and knew her stuff! I suggest her for any surgery and she works at Mayo Clinic. With her knowledge and Mayo behind her you can't go wrong. I highly recommend her!

From the first Dr appt to 2 weeks post TLKR surgery, Dr Sherman has listened and answered my questions, and made me feel at ease with my 1st knee replacement. 2weeks post 1st knee, I am doing great and ready to get my right knee done. I am so so pleased with how my left knee is responding to the replacement, and how I am progressing in PT. I’m looking forward to getting back on both feet.

I must say I am so glad Dr Sherman did my femur resection with knee replacement for the soft tissue cancer found in my knee that also in my lower femur. She and her team at Mayo were most outstanding and considering how fast I healed and was back up and around truly amazed me. She is so patient and always took time with me before the procedure to keep me fully informed and answered all my questions. It has been 3 months since my surgery (which was much more extreme than a simple knee replacement). I am back to mowing the lawn, driving and walking with my wife and dogs comfortably. My cancer was removed with clean margins and is showing no signs of return. If I ever need my other knee replaced I am going to find her and would trust her 110% to do any bone replacement. Her surgeon skills must be great too - I had no infections and my 26 inch incision is healing very nicely with no roping etc. I did follow her advise and use scar creams and am massaging it as part of physical therapy as well. I don't believe you could find a better Orthopedic Oncology Surgeon today.

Great surgeon! She performed surgery on me for AVN. Was experimental and that's been over nine years ago. I am regrowing new areas in my hips and I a m so proud I was accepted by her to perform my surgery. ! A+++++++

Dr. Courtney Sherman replaced my right knee in November 2017. after numerous return visit with no relief in pain I went to another Dr. at UoF Sports Center and Orthorpaedics for help. I'm now in my 3rd PT and looking at the replacement of upper half of the knee replacement do to incorrect surgery by Dr. Sherman. I wouldn't recommend her to anyone.
