I had my 5th surgery at Mayo clinic and Dr. Elli was my surgeon. This was my 4th hernia repair surgery and didn't go well. I had to go to UCSF to take care of problem that Dr. Elli couldn't solve.

I had an appointment with Dr. Enrique Elli at Mayo Clinic located in Jacksonville Florida on 02/02/2021 and staff provided an exceptional experience for me. Doctor Elli is very professional, caring and friendly. I was highly recommend Dr. Elli with other patients and my opinion and experience Dr. Elli is one of the best Surgeon in Jacksonville. Dr. Elli was provided CT Scan results on CD and written report showing enlarged hernia. Instead of performing necessary surgery he waited weeks doing additional test that resulted in emergency after the hernia pushed my stomach through the chest wall. Even after he performed surgery the GERD was not fixed and I was dismissed from Mayo Clinic seven days from scheduled surgery by him. He does not put his patient needs before his own. He could have done the surgery as scheduled but he said any surgeon could perform the surgery. As I have severe asthma, finding a surgeon isn't easy. They all keep referring me to Mayo Clinic of Jacksonville.

he operated in 2011 and to this day I keep at the desired weight for me is one of the best doctors that I had I recommend one hundred percent??????

Dr. Elli doesn’t take time to listen to his patients. This is even after waiting over two hours for him to finish in the OR and get to his clinic patients. I felt that he should “exam” the patient instead of “looking at the numbers”.

He performed my surgery in 2011 and I lost 130lbs he was very professional and nice. it now 5/9/2016 and I'm still down 100lbs.
