While in my examination room, with a PA, he never once addressed me, and when he answered my questions or wanted to give info, he instead spoke to the PA as though I was not in the room. Although I was physically in the room, he acted as though I was not. He never asked me any questions about my health practices or use of medications. This type of behavior, in my opinion, is an indication (formal thought disorder) of a mental health issue. When I called some weeks later to ask for a prescription renewal, he refused to renew it saying ' the PA told me you said...' Using RUMORS to make medical decisions about my health is NOT APPROPRIATE, certainly not a good basis for decision-making. I have been using my medication since 2020, He refused to renew the prescription -- and had no good reason to deny renewing the prescription. I went to the Mayo Clinic for treatment, got an arbitrary decision made by a man with mental health issues.

It’s a shame a doctor gets a bad review because of their staff, but I get it; You are only as good as your employees. My experience was pleasant and he fixed all of my family members problems from another Urologist.

OK, being fair to this doctor.....I placed a call to Mayo and was clearly told under current situation a virtual or teleconference was available. Most doctors (top experts) arrange without issue. I shared that I reside in Palm Beach County and all I needed was a consult supported by my relinquishing all medical records for Dr. Broderick's review prior to our consult. In fact, his staff proceeded to accept all information about me, insurance, normal first time patient requirements. It was clear at this point a consult via teleconferencing for a second opinion was the intent. After all the wasted in setting up such conference, I was told this doctor does not do teleconferencing even offer second opinions. Office, clinical process did not seem to have their act together? I have arranged two other appointments without issue with urologists here in the USA. In all fairness, this doctor may not know what goes on with his team but..... Wasted time!!! Wasted effort and most of all i was under the impression doctors take a pledge to help others heal even offer second opinions. Paid for of course!

Dr. Broderick did help my ED problem and as a result it got worse. He was not aggressive in addressing the issue and seemed not to care.

I was patient number one for the Urolift at Mayo. I needed this for quality of life so went with them in spite of very rude staff. It’s difficult to show up with a full bladder and then wait for however long it takes them, usually 45 mins or more, to go. Very little concern for my comfort during exams and the procedure. When the Urolift failed is when he showed how really uncaring he could be. All in all, he fits right in with the rest of the ‘we are better than everyone else’ at Mayo. Staff at Mayo won’t go to that clinic. That says something.........

He used advanced diagnostics to tell me what was wrong and identity best treatments for me

Very smart doctors. Poor bedside manner. That don’t listen to the patient. Will only try one medication for bladder issues and then want you to self cath. Then when you don’t like or question their advice tell you to go find another urologist at another facility. Horrible urologiy department. Do not recommend one doctor there. All the other doctors at Mayo are over the top wonderful! And the nursing staff!

Professional from start to finish. Outstanding in my opinion. I've been in the medical profession for nearly over 40 years.

First of all , The staff at Dr. Broderick's office treated me with professionalism , dignity , and respect , which set me at ease as much as can be expected at a Urology appt. & exam . His nurse , Kelly set me at ease right from the start . Dr. Broderick came in when all preparations were finished . Almost immediately he diagnosed my condition with the testing equipment , and visual inspection . He comes off as a normal guy as opposed to a haughty know-it-all type . I recommend him , & staff .

Dr. Broderick and the team at Mayo Clinic were exceptional. They were attentive every step of the way and helped me through an very difficult time.
