Registered Nurse practitioner Alexis is great and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Open to finding the root cause of problems but will also make sure your treatment plan does not cause more side effects than the initial ailment, which is important to me. I have been coming to Beaches Internal Medicine for over 20 years. Dr. Aguilar is a trusted doctor that really cares about his patients. The staff here is also amazing and go the extra mile to try and keep me healthy.

I was sick with a really bad Flu and bronchitis. Being new in the area, I didn’t have a primary care physician. When I called and explained the situation, they squeezed me in between patients. Dr. Loftis is a very professional plus he really cares about his patients. I’m a dentist and I can assure that they are people that really do they job good, check you correctly and meet all the quality standards and regulations. Dr. Karen McCarthy has been my physician for years. She is extremely focused and holistic in her treatment; she takes the time to answer any questions that I have and always offers me options other than prescription medications (which I appreciate!). - Incorrectly billing multiple times. We've been given a "credit" for incorrect bills but it never seems to apply. - Billing department won't respond or answer questions. Have tried for months and months correct/get more information on bills we have receive. Left many phone messages. Nobody answers. - Gave out my wife' name/phone number to another patient. There was confusion about if she _WORKED_ at Jorge's office!!! While she is a nurse, she DOES NOT work at this office. - Doctor didn't seem very knowledgable. - The above makes me worry about patient data in regards for HIPAA. - Incorrectly billing multiple times.
