After being told that I had Severe Pectus Excavatum which was causing mechanically restricted heart failure at 42 I was told this was a life saving surgery for me by my cardiologist... after months of being told no by other surgeons I came across this wonderful doctor and his team... I was almost ready to have to say goodbye to my family but he gave me a second chance ❤️❤️❤️ After surgery my skin went from yellow-grey back to a glowing brown and I went from walking in with cane assistance to not needing to even need one I cannot express how much this man helped me... his bed side manner is wonderful and he listens to what you have to say, your questions answered fully, and the knowledge of the surgery beforehand I am convinced was what helped me not to have a panic attack after surgery. If I could give more than 5 stars I would💞💞💞

Great doctor! His staff is AWESOME! He and his team saved my Bobby from The Widow Maker blockages (3 of them) and Aortic Valve blockage. He was a walking dead man and we had no clue until his Primary Dr Shad Stormat heard a heart murmur during a regular check up. We thought his being tired all the time was just age as he was 71. But, it was his heart and all the blockages. Today he is doing great. His surgery was 9.28.2020, without Dr. M and his staff he would not be here today. We literally had no time to process it all. We found out his AV was blocked in July and his other blockages (The Widow Maker) in September just within months of his primary doctor hearing the heart murmur in June. We had a check up today 7.13.2021 and his AV is working perfect aswell as his heart. Thank you all!!! Pics are of Bobby with 2 of his ❤ Dr's. What a blessing to have had Dr Mark Mostovych & his Assistant, Jim to be my medical team! I was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer & referred to them for surgery. They are very professional, but at the same time friendly. That’s a unique combo! I’m thankful for their expertise & encouragement. I’m now 19 months post surgery & very thankfully doing well. Thanking God & these guys!

My ENT doctor referred me to Dr Mostovych after checking with his circle of Docs to find the Best of The Best. I must agree based on my recent experience. The surgery was every bit was he described, St Vincent’s care was 100% Plus and now two weeks after the surgery I am eating my normal foods leaving only a follow-up appointment with Dr Mostovych and his staff in a week.

His PA Jim Arreche is the by far the most caring and attentive medical professional I have ever met. He treated my wife like his own and spent the necessary time to answer all of our questions. He comforted her while removing stitches which can be traumatic after going thru the experience of open heart surgery. Mostovych did a wonderful job but I will always be grateful for how Jim treated her. Five star service for sure.

If you are looking for one of the best Cardiac surgeons in this region , look no further. His skill and experience is the best. I had a Mitral valve repair and (1) bypass. Great care from St. V's facility and staff as well as Dr. Mostavych's Staff.
