Dr. Smart has treated my brother for years. He has always gone the extra mile. He stays up to date on new medications and/or treatments. He listens and responds to concerns and questions. He communicates well and seems to genuinely care. He is top notch in our book.

As a kidney transplant patient, my nephrologist is vitally important to me. Dr. Smart is one of the best in the business. Under his care, my new kidney is working better than ever and I have Dr. Smart to thank for that. Not only is he a great Dr. he is also kind and caring. I always leave his office with a smile because of his kindness. In addition, his office is run really well. There is almost NEVER a wait! I can't recommend him highly enough!

I first encountered Dr Smart when I had what turned out to be stage 4 kidney faliure. This was due to a medication I took, I was very sick. Dr Smart was tenacious about finding out why this happened, he spent time with me, was compassionate and very through. He is an excellent Dr in every way, and I highly recommend him.
