Eight years ago I saw Dr. Attia about a huge sarcoma in my thigh. Dr. Attia and his team promptly treated me. The treatment plan worked. It included radiation and chemotherapy. They removed the sarcoma. I get scanned every year. The sarcoma is gone. He saved my life.

Dr Attia has been great! On my first treatment my tumor shrunk by close to 80% he has been really great about answering all our questions as well. Thank you doctor!!

Dr. Attia was extremely quick to get my husband on a chemo schedule that we desperately needed. He has been diagnosed with a rare cancer, we were unbelievably thankful to have been excepted into Dr. Attia's care!!! We feel like we are in great hands.

This review is to speak to the attention, care and professionalism of Dr. Steven Attia, D.O, Hematology and Medical Oncology of Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville Florida. Since my diagnosis of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), I have been treated with careful analysis, detailed examinations, and critical reviews as if I were the President of the United States. We (my wife and I) can always count on Dr. Attia to give my visits the utmost attention to the tests and, most importantly, to our questions. His answers are not only direct in response to our questions but are also explained with complete details that afford us to clearly understand the results of the scans and lab work. Steven Attia is the most caring doctor ever. He is kind and is encouraging to his patients. His staff is fabulous. They are so helpful with appointments, procedure scheduling and tests. I could not ask for a better group to care for my medical needs.

Dr. Attia has a great bedside manner. Fantastic Dr who is personable and professional. He really cares about his patients and is very thorough. Have been coming here for 4.5 years and Dr Attia even calls to get you in early when he has an opening. He takes time to answer all your questions. We have been impressed with him from day one. Dr.Attia and his Mayo team are the best!! I was diagnosed with sarcoma four years ago. We headed straight to the Mayo. With Dr. Attia’s quick thinking , unbelievable credentials and his caring attitude I was set up for surgery and radiation right away. I have to mention Dr. Pirgousis and Dr.May who both had a very important part in my recovery! I highly recommend Dr. Attia. I am cancer free!

Dr Attia and his team were referred by a Tampa oncologist due to my husband's diagnosis with myoxoid liposarcoma. Dr Attia and his team created an effective treatment plan and is very concerned about the quality of care provided. We travel over four hours for follow up visits, and Dr Attia and his team ensure prompt test results. Dr Attia's team is available via the online portal and are very responsive to any questions asked. I would highly recommend Dr Attia and his team for treatment of this rare cancer.
