List of W. Scott Wagner's Reviews
The office staff is rude and completely incompetent. Emily a uninformed staff member, has no idea what services are offered and how to book a new client consultation. They clearly need training in customer service and proper telephone etiquette. If an office is going to send out several mail solicitations to acquire new patients, then I recommend your staff be aware of the mailings and what the offerings are and that the owner is wanting to increase his client base.Marie Baker
I had TMJ disorder for years that went untreated by my dentists. It would wax and wane and I lived with it until it reached a crescendo. I was in terrible pain and researching for answers. I found Dr. Wagner and the moment I met him and his staff I knew these were competent people whom I could trust. I live in Gainesville, but that didn't matter to me because I had found the best, Dr. Wagner. After a thorough interview with his staff, he talked to me about my problem and explained what would need to be done. It would be necessary for me to work with his physical therapist first. That's what I am doing and I am excited to move to the next step where Dr. Wagner can do his work to help me.
Caveat Emptor! I was a new patient from out of state who had just finished 3 years of Invisalign so I saw my dentist regularly. My teeth cleanings were always covered (twice a year) Delta Dental and my reports were good. Eccella said I needed a $300 cleaning and almost $1400 in dental work. I trusted- they maxed out my insurance for the year($2000) and I had to pay almost $1400 out of pocket. in 20 years I had not maxed this out. I was overcharged with extra X-rays (not communicated) & an extra cavity I was told would be $40 was actually $135.[ MSN & Moneywise.com have articles warning of the way some dentists are increasing their income by selling "Deep cleaning" to 1st time patients, unbundled claims (crown cost- separate prep$), upcoding (charging more for a procedure), & useless treatments(fluoride, sealings).]I have gone back twice to get my bite readjusted & I still experience cold pain but I am not going back. I was told on the obvious overcharges that the office "would make it right" but I have had no email response or calls returned from the office manager. This would have cost me less if I had flown back to my previous state. - Tremendously disappointed.
I have spent many hours in a dental chair in my life due to several mouth injuries. Needless to say I have a bit of PTSD, so going to the Dentist was not my favorite thing to do. Then I met Dr. Wagner and his wonderful staff! Their office is beautiful with all the latest instruments and expertise. Dr. Wagner explains everything, calms your nerves with his joking, singing, and gentle demeanor. And his Staff is as kind and caring as he is! I absolutely love this office and highly recommend them!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
