patient with a history of preterm labor and the death of a previous child from the same complications. At the same hospital. Didn't stop the contractions and never determined the cause. Took it upon himself to recommend she would be better off dealing with it herself at home. Patients fetal fibronectin test was positive and she was expierencing continual contraction s between. 5 and 15 minutes apart and her most recent cervical examination showed she was 1cm dialated at 29 weeks and the babies heart rate decreases during a her contractions. Still this poor excuse for a medical professional decided to risk my wife's health and the life of my child. Either he had no regard for my child's life or he isn't aware of the situation and shouldn't be making recommendations anyway. Roc has continuously recommended that she be sent home even before all of this happened and then they still even after their prognosis is shown to be completely wrong * over and over and over again* pure incompetence!
I understand that since covid 19 has changed just about everything that there would be a wait for our own protection and protection for the staff. But I feel as if it could have been organized a little better. I waited a whole 1 hr upon arriving At my destination, an area I'm am not familiar with just to have to wait in my car. I wish I would have been informed of my wait. Had I ubered like I Originally planned on doing, then I would have been left standing in the rain.
I truly wish i could give this establishment nothing. I have never been so utterly disappointed in the care I have received and the behavior of ALL of the physicians here. The front office staff are rude, unorganized and the communication breakdown for continuity of care between providers is epic. They make you feel like you have no option but to see them, use you as a statistic and stress you out to tears every time you go in. I will be launching a complaint with Baptist Health about their practices to urge them to use someone else for their "high risk consulting". I recommend you know your options and do your research before your OB tells you to come here.
I waited 2 HOURS for a simple ultrasound screening before finally leaving. I was there with my one year old son and after an hour and a half of waiting, was walking around the hallways with him to ease his restlessness and was instructed that I was not allowed to, despite the fact that he was not yelling or talking, just simply walking and we were sent back to the small, full holding room with an open door for another half hour. By the 2hour point, I went to complain and reschedule, I said an hour wait, I can understand, but 2hrs is just disrespectful to my time. They treated me like I was an out of control, ranting person and wouldn't acknowledge the inconvenience to me that this was an inconsiderate amount of time to expect someone to wait. I was never offered an apology, quite the opposite, I was treated with total coldness as if I was unreasonable and given just a "tough shit, this is the way it is" attitude. They couldn't even tell me if I would even be waiting another 20-30mins. So I asked to reschedule when the office was less busy and they couldn't accommodate that. They say it's always busy. Basically, they do not function in an efficient way and they don't give a shit about their patients' time or struggles. They were completely indifferent to the fact that I was there that long while trying to contain a small child who was doing absolutely amazing and hadn't even cried. The only thing accomplished was a nurse asking me questions I already answered on the paperwork as well as answered a year and a half ago the last time I was there. Perhaps the care and treatment is different towards those who have more risk, but don't recommend unless an absolute last resort and you can expect to be treated poorly and need to be very tolerant to that. And for a place that exists because of babies, they certainly don't like to accommodate them. So unbelievably disappointed and offended.Could have been resolved by a simple, sincere understanding of where I was coming from. They were only dismissive and rude and couldn't care less how long I had waited....with a baby!
I come here once a month. Appointments and check in are very simple . The wait is never longer than 15 minutes . There's plenty of staff so most of the time you don't get to see the same person that does the sonogram. I haven't had problems with billing issue as some reviewers. They do not allow pictures or video in the exam room .
I went to ROC throughout my pregnancy and I never really had any problems. Plenty of parking and they're right off JTB. They also have other locations in Jax. Appointments are super easy to make. As for wait times, it wasn't too bad. The longest I've ever waited was maybe 30mins past my appointment time but usually it's only 10-15 mins. They have a few doctors on rotation but for the most part I saw Dr. Gaudier. Super nice guy, good bedside manners. Always upbeat and explained everything. All in all I'm very happy with ROC. If it wasn't for my ob and ROC, my babies would not be here right now. One last thing... as for billing... I would suggest to pay your bills in person. I had received a bill in the mail and paid it online and then I noticed that I had already paid for that service a few weeks ago while I was there in person. Come to find out that their office and online billing department can be a bit off. So.... they suggest if you do get a bill in the mail, go and bring it to their office to double check if you haven't already paid for that service.
ROC is the worst place to go even if your OB/GYN referred you...unless you have a huge bank balance to pay for the ridiculous amount that the ROC charges. These tests can be done elsewhere too without for a way lower cost...negative rating
I had my first visit to ROC yesterday. There was a bit of a wait, but I understand they see a lot of patients due them specializing in high risk. Ultimately we all just want a healthy baby and for that I am willing to wait. The staff was all very kind and sweet. They took the time to answer any questions and explained my ultrasound every step of the way. I read the Yelp reviews before I went in and did not expect a good experience because of it, but it was the opposite. Great experience start to finish. I am happy about that as I will be seeing them for the remainder of my pregnancy.
Avoid at all costs these Eugenics Executioners who will use mental psychological tactics to drive the pregnant women in fear therefore being able to manipulate the scared mother to do all they suggest and do all recommended tests who makes them lots of money $$$$$$. These Eugenics Executioners are nothing but a nuance in the medical field all they do is talk, run expensive tests, order murders of an unborn innocent human specially if it has Down Syndrome just like the Nazis. Their ethics are abominable and disgusting. The main nurse is a fake! She's rude and ignorant. The front staff are descent people. These Eugenics Executioners do not care one bit for you or your unborn human baby! All they care is to run unnecessary ultrasound after ultrasound to make tons of money. It's a disgrace that any OBGYN would even consider using their services, they been duped by them. Jacksonville have been duped by these folks they probably have demanded the OBGYN to have a legal contract with them and the dummies signed it. They are so useless seriously that their only survival in the medical field is to use fear mongering mind control tactics against unsuspecting vulnerable pregnant women to run ultrasounds like a mad machine. Insurances should really monitor these idiots experts of nothing! They will push aminio on you like crazy maniac costing $1500 in comparison with blood test $105. They don't even deliver! If you want to murder your child by all means used them they will gladly order the execution for you! It's imperative that women say "no" and find respectable compassionate unbiased care. Pregnant women are vulnerable and can be easily manipulated by dishonest self serving medical folks. They will invent problems with your unborn baby to justify the need for more tests giving them more money. What a disgusting field to make money out fear, bad news, fear mongering, and ordering the executions to murder your unborn child! I hope all the murdered fetuses that were killed by of their orders will give them no peace, sleep, and will curse their lives! Wake up pregnant women you do not need these Eugenics Executioners unless you want to murder your kid. Heck you can even get the gender reveal in a local 3D ultrasound for less than $100. The future of this field will eventually die out. Useless Eugenics Executioners who pay peanuts to the ultrasound technicians to do all the dirty work and they get all the money! They used all their staff and patients to keep feeding their leech lifestyle. Do not trust what they tell you! They lie, they invent possible problems to keep you scare and going to them. You don't need to hire the idiots! This is my observation, experience, and opinion. My personal opinion is protected under the 1st Amendment under Freedom of Speech.
Horrible experience with the billing. I informed them the moment I found out I was still on my parents insurance and that my husbands insurance was going to be requesting the money they had paid on a previous claim back. Informed them that they would need to file the claim with my parents insurance as my parents is primary (its a very odd case, I know, but none the less its reality I'm still on my parents insurance). The receptionist stated that she still had my parents insurance on file and she would make note of it and let the billing department handle the matter. Today, I received a call from the billing department demanding I pay the balance on the account as my husbands insurance has requested the money back. I asked if they ever filed the claim to my parents insurance and was informed no and that too much time had passed by and that I was now responsible. I kept demanding that they file the claim with my parents insurance and that was the phone call. They do not care nor do they listen or follow direction or understand how filing claims work. I have been working filing dental claims for the last 17 years of my life. I know how the process works. I also know that a doctors office only has "x" amount of time to file a claim and if it is not done in a timely manner during the allotted time frame, the patient is not responsible for the money. It's the provider fault and they have to eat the cost. Next time might I suggest you be on top of your responsibilities and listen to your patient when they state what is going on.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
