Dr Devcic handled a Y90 treatment for me that was very successful and spared me major surgery along with the months of recovery. Process was quite painless and I opted to skip the sedation all together and his team explained everything during the procedures very clearly. Found the entire experience to be very educational and I am most grateful for the Mayo teams hospitality during my visits to various departments going through this process. If you are a candidate for this type of intervention, GO FOR IT! Much less invasive than anything else and I missed less than a week of work throughout. Also spared my family the tremendous stress of a surgical adventure and prolonged recovery.

Anyone who has the privilege of having Dr. Devcic is probably not in the “best place” from a medical standpoint. Not because their situation is necessarily dire, but because of the countless “medical professionals” they had to encounter along the way. You know it the minute he walks into the room that this experience will be different. While his medical expertise is brilliant, you cannot teach what Dr. Devcic has. In addition, his team is like a well-oiled machine. From the scheduling to the comprehensive clinical assessment, to follow up it doesn’t get better. BEST Practice in clinical excellence.

Wonderful experience. The physician explained my diagnosis and performed a more conservative procedure. I felt very assured that I was in good hands. The staff and follow up was exceptional!

I had an IVC filter that was trapped in the vein with bloodclots and scar tissue. After two failed removal attempts, I was referred to Dr. Devcic at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. He absolutely did the impossible. After an 11 hour surgery, he got that filter out, deployed stents and completely restored bloodflow that had been cut off for a year and a half. I can not rave enough about this Doctor. His expertise, patience, and kindness through this ordeal has been amazing. He is my Unicorn. An impossible creature that can do the impossible. While a previous surgeon saved my life by deploying the IVC filter, Devcic gave me my life back by removing it.

Dear Dr. Zlatko, on February 2020 a Doctor in Naple Fl. damage my Artery for over 15 month I suffered pain and I did.'t have life, on May of 2022 gladly I fund Dr. Zlatko he repaired my Artery. Dr. Z is a LIFE SAVER & finding him has been the biggest blessing to my family! After multiple misdiagnoses and unsuccessful treatments by various vascular surgeons in the Tampa Bay area, I decided to reach out to the Mayo Clinic for help. My dad has been suffering for years with insufficient blood flow to his left leg. We have been through misdiagnoses, failed treatments, 3 hospitalizations, and 2 unsuccessful surgeries. Our first visit with Dr.Z was life changing. I already knew at that point that we came to the right place! He was able to correctly diagnose my dads condition and immediately executed a surgical plan to fix it. The surgery was a huge success! Dr. Z was able to reverse the damage done from previous surgeries and successfully execute his surgical plan, which immediately established blood flow back to my dads leg. We will never be able to thank Dr. Z enough for everything he has done for my dad. Aside from being THE BEST surgeon, he has AMAZING bedside manner, and is overall such a caring and compassionate individual. He constantly reaches out to check on my dad via phone or zoom meetings in between our trips to Jacksonville. We travel 6 hours round trip to get to the Mayo Clinic and it is worth every bit of it! We would fly across the country for Dr. Z!

Dr. Devcic helped make a trauma filled event more human.

Dr. "Z" performed liver ablation in April 2021 for cancer that had metastasized. It was successful, currently no cancer in liver. Dr. "Z" made me comfortable during entire procedure, including explaining procedure in detail to my wife and I , explaining what was happening during procedure, and following up after. The procedure was painless and there were no problems during recovery. Thank you so much for not only being an excellent surgeon, but kind, compassionate doctor.

My Daughter met Dr. Devcic at a very desperate time when other doctors in her area gave up on her (DVT & PE). Dr. Devcic never gave up and proceeded to look into her situation even further. When he realized what other doctors had done he took immediate action to scrum with his collogues. Dr. Devcic and his team worked on my daughter and never gave up. Aug. 19, 2021 she has good blood flow in the stent area that needed to be replaced (yes replaced, should never happen). I applaud Dr. Devcic for never giving up on my daughter and the team at Mayo if all could learn from your bedside manner, it would be great! thank you.
