I have great confidence in Dr Becker. She is always patient and clear during my appointments.

Dr. Becker of WHS is one of the worst doctors I have ever worked with. She uses outdated medical advice, has no bedside manner and takes an authoritarian/patriarchal approach to medicine. In 2018 she diagnosed me with endometriosis at my annual. She did not begin to discuss possible other symptoms I could be experiencing or send me home with any information and she failed to document the diagnosis she gave me in my chart. What should have happened in 2018: 1. Diagnosed with endometriosis and documented it in medical chart 2. Referral to specialist That should have been the end of it. We could have kept our relationship as general gyno and patient if she had followed the appropriate actions above. Instead she took it upon herself to: 1. Not document the diagnosis she gave me in 2018 and only finally document it in 2019. 2. In 2019 give outdated medical advice and push drugs, like Orilissa that has an FDA warning against taking it for a long period of time and that only masks symptoms while the disease itself continues to grow and wreak havoc on your system. 3. Say that surgery would only be considered if I wanted to get pregnant 4. Refuse to give me an MRI or ultrasound after I had requested both (sidenote my MRI that my specialist ordered DOES show I have endometriosis) 5. Refuse to acknowledge my PMDD symptoms or document them in my chart 6. Rush me through our discussion to jump into the exam and put me through more pain than I had experienced all year and that lasted for days afterwards It is because of doctors like Dr. Becker that millions of women are suffering needlessly without proper medical advice. During my 2019 annual I cried and felt completely hopeless over some of my symptoms while Dr. Becker blankly stared at me and responded in blunt completely emotionless answers. I walked out of the office after my annual in 2019 determined to find a specialist and never set foot inside WHS for an appointment again. It took me MINUTES within returning home to research and learn that excision surgery is the gold standard for endometriosis and that only a highly trained specialist should be trusted to do this. WHS is still doing ablation which is considered an outdated practice by experts in the industry and typically can cause more harm than good, especially long term. I met with a specialist a few months later who was horrified to hear of my experience, but said it was the norm. She held my hand as I shook and cried and walked her through my symptoms and the impact this has had on my life. She listened, she cared and she worked with me to create a plan I was comfortable and confident in – one that is based on current science and understanding of this disease by experts. If you value your health you will stay FAR away from this place. I gave Dr. Becker two weeks to correct my medical records before my specialist appointment. She decided to stand by her record and refuse to amend anything to accurately reflect what I reported and what she previously diagnosed me with. This review was very personal to me and took me a long time to consider sharing, I do so now to try to save other women the pain and frustration of becoming Dr. Becker’s patient. Look at the overall reviews for this place - when somewhere has more 1 star reviews than anything else it means one thing: RUN.

Dr. Becker was my Obgyn - I really liked her and was very sad that she left the practice, near me (and one that took my insurance). I would have switched over but I am moving out of FL. I feel she is very professional, you don’t have to wait hours, she doesn’t chat but she always answered my questions.

I am writing this review in regards to my daughter who was seen by this dr yesterday (9/1/20) for an ectopic pregnancy. My daughter was devastated hearing the news and Dr. Becker showed absolutely no sympathy or empathy towards my daughter. Told my daughter that she shouldn’t have even got pregnant this early (she had a baby 8 months ago) who is she to tell a woman not to continue on growing their family and told her that her being on the pill was the main cause for this situation to occur. After all this was said, she then told my daughter that she needed to be back on the pill for the next 4 months to “rest her body”. Remind you, she’s never seen my daughter as a patient before but insists on making these “professional” calls not even knowing her patient. As a Dr to say such demeaning words to an expected mother, I’m appalled at this Dr’s unprofessional, unsympathetic, and cold gesture towards her patients. I highly would NOT RECOMMEND her to my family or friends. Shame on this Dr!!!

The only reason she is getting two stars is because my son's circumcision went well. She was very rude in the hospital, acting as if we were making a mistake and forcing a circumcision right that moment even though we were told that's when it is done. Terrible bed side manner. Everyone else at Women's Health Specialist is wonderful, but avoid Dr. Becker.

She's very knowledgeable, helpful, and relatable. She seems passionate about guiding her patients to their specific needs, and for that I am grateful!

She’s been my doctor for about 6 years now and I would highly recommend her. Very knowledgeable about her specialty.

Dr Becker is a great professional and has been treating my wife for several years. Best Dr my wife has ever seen in her 71 years of age. We highly recommend her to every one we know.

Sorry if I’m double posting. Dr. Becker operated on me and the whole experience was great. Out of 7 surgeries I’ve had, she’s really been the best as far as kindness and professionalism. I can’t speak highly enough about her. I’m very surprised by the negative reviews here as that was nowhere my experience, especially in the hospital. C and M S
