Jeffrey Karp's Online Review Report Card

I went to see Dr. Karp following an auto accident where I sustained I injuries to my neck, shoulders and back. He has absolutely terrible bedside manners! Of all the things he chose to hone in on, it was the way my the design on my finger nails were manicured/painted- ridiculed me as if I were a child (I’m a grown professional woman with a Doctorate degree). Some tests were run to determine the extent of my muscle/tissue injury and Dr. Karp was unnecessarily rough and dismissive when I voiced concern over the discomfort he was causing. 10/10 would NOT recommend!

Not very friendly Dr. He was arrogant and seemed uncaring.

I love Dr. Karl and received great care from him. I am looking to go back. Good doctors get booked up fast.

He is a pompous arrogant fool. Grew up in a low income environment. Not a family man. Very selfish. The doctor title has gone to his head. Heard he moved. Too bad he didn't retire!

Sad and disappointing experience. When I called to reschedule an appointment., I was told I could not reschedule or be seen because I did not call them to cancel my appointment. When I let them know my father had passed away on the day of my appointment. She then said that they had to speak to Dr. Karp and would call me back. They called back and wanted to charge me $100 to schedule my appt. No compassion or kindness shown. He also missed diagnosing me with MS. Unfriendly office environment.

The first time I met him, he had a syringe in his pocket, the same way most people would carry a pen. When I stated that I was opposed to injections he became condescending and dismissive. I was referred back to him for nerve studies (NCVs), his staff humiliated me. My copay had gone up a week before and I did not have the difference on me. I asked to reschedule. They said it would take three visits for one test and I'd need to pay it all now or leave. Greedy, condescending and rude.

Dr. Karp was condescending and rude to my elderly mother who suffers with dementia, he had no bedside manner. He should not be working with the elderly. Worst Doctor I've even been to. I am not saying he doesn't have the skills or knowledge base, but he is inappropriate and unkind. Poor listening skills and flip answers. Nothing warm or genuine. We had a return visit and my mother was having a difficult time tolerating the medicine, he threw it in the trash can very forcefully, hostile man.

A friend had an appt sched with the Dr and was sitting at her father's bedside as he passed so unfortunately she did not call to cancel the appt. When she called to resched she was told she could not as she did not cancel prev appt. She explained the situation and was told they would discuss it with the Dr and call her back. The office called back and said she could resched the appt after she paid a $100 no show fee! There has to be exceptions, if not, this is a very COLD Dr!

I've only gotten worse since I started with him. He uses same testing computer equipment that was designed in the 1970's and is constantly wanting you to "prove" you have pain. This office has no oversight so same people doing the same 'old' things forever. Absolutely no social skills and makes my blood pressure go up just thinking about him.
