Dr. stein’s MA, Bonnie, is such an incredible asset to this team. She returns all calls expeditiously, follows up, answers questions and goes above and beyond. Her cheerful attitude is very much appreciated to her sick patients…It would be great to clone her for all medical offices!
Dr Stein is awesome! Yes the office gets busy. Direct result of great care!
My initial interview was with a PA which was fine. Dr. Stein never met me before my endoscopy. I assume he did it because while I was still recovering from anesthesia he spoke with me for less than minute and then left. I had no chance to ask a question.I called to speak with him a week later to ask some questions and was not able to.
He’s a wonderful doctor. My husband, his patient, had an emergency after a banding procedure at the office that came with complications. he called the ER Head Doctor and the Gastro Surgeon immediately to let them know we were coming and was treated excellent upon our arrival. He is caring and great bedside manners!! Thanks Dr. Stein
Dr. Is fine. But no one answers the phone . The staff is to busy helping others. Been calling too often today. Update. 2 years later, nothing has changed. Dr wasn’t there for my 3 office visits, had to see the PA. Office help needs help. Sad he’s a good doctor, and I liked him, but his people make him look bad. The pa says he left a message for me with his staff about going to the er. She didn’t call me for 2 days. They were busy. I have moved on after being told I MIGHT need to have 1-2 feet of my Colin removed, I’m on blood thinners so it would have been scary. Glad I went to another doctor Because the next office visit was weeks away. Funny… someone is monitoring these statements which is nice maybe they will help get someone to answer the phones and take the answering service off at 9 instead of 9:15.
Dr. Stein is the best. I wish all drs could be like him. He takes his time & cares about you.
Staff are kind receptive and makes one feel special can’t ask for more
Staff is incredibly rude. I tried to make an appointment with dr stein and they said he’s not accepting new patients and hung up on me.
Dr Stein just did a colonoscopy on my husband on Monday. He basically said it was most likely cancer. It came back it was so he suggested doctors in JMC. Unfortunately they were not on my husband’s plan. Well he actually researched and found doctors in his plan who he thought were just as good and got the ball rolling on coordinating his care. Actually called my husband several times to let him know what was going on. We were so impressed. I’ve told everyone I know how amazing he is and have several friends who will be using him including me.
An amazing doctor. I can’t say enough about his care. He did a colonoscopy recently on my husband. He found a cancerous lesion. Once the biopsy confirmed it, he was on the phone with my husband recommending a surgeon and oncologist. He found they weren’t on his insurance so he found ones who were. He called my husband several times assuring us he was getting his treatment rolling. Recommending him all my friends.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
