A remarkable doctor that cares about his patients. He is only human - flesh and blood - and he does try his best to return calls or perfecting his bedside manners or whatever that one star reviewer is complaining about. He was recommended to me over 8 years ago and I recommend him to anyone in need of a great nephrologist.

Excellent. I would definitely recommend him. I had a serious bloody nose issue and after 4 visits to the Emergency Room in 2 days was hospitalized for 4 days. While I was there I had a very serious drop in my sodium levels. He stabilized me and followed my care post hospital for some time. I continue to improve 6 weeks past hospital stay and am very happy with his care. He is very trustworthy, very knowledgeable and communicates about the issues very clearly. I would recommend him very highly.

I have missed him so. He practiced here in Owensboro, Kentucky before he decided to broaden his horizons. I wish I could come and see him but I don’t have a car that goes more than 45 mi an hour, lol! My name is Cathy Mayfield. He did everything he could do to help me!

Dr Puri has been has been my doctor for about three years. He is an awesome doctor who takes time and listens to every concern and answers every question I have ever asked. I feel lucky to have him.

Repeated very poor follow-through in regards to timely phone calls and communication with patients. Diverts responsibility for his decisions to not communicate or return phone calls onto others resulting in circular communications and delays in treatment that are inconsistent with standards of care. Upon being verbally confronted with his poor performance, Dr Puri argues and discharges the patient instead of simply apologizing and improving this weak area of physician care.
