Jupiter Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

It was a nightmare. Everything from finding the place to the entrance sign was wrong. The bedding is very outdated and uncomfortable. They are not really blankets but rather rough bedspreads and sheets. The pillows are worn and feel like plastic. You literally have to pile 34 pillows to get comfortable. You would think with the amount of money they get from the insurance companies and copays service was not free they could at least offer comfortable sleeping quartersbedding. The entire experience was a nightmare. I regret choosing this place because I had options. I’m just glad it’s over

I did a home sleep study. I went into get the equipment. I was very surprised when I was alone with a man and he put his arms around my chest to show me how to put the equipment on. I was extremely uncomfortable. I know this is a medical setting and this was just his job but I knew if I felt this way other women would too. I tried to call and give them my opinion however I was just speaking to a different man who didn’t seem to understand what this is like for a female. While I appreciate he listened it went in one ear and out another. He made excuses such as the virus and said employees goes through criminal backgrounds. Like I said in one ear and out the other. A background check has nothing to do with what I was trying to convey. I also work on law enforcement so I’d be able to handle any situation myself. The point was how uncomfortable it was to walk in and be alone with a man and having his hands near my chest. If I need a sleep study in the future I will not be returning here nor will I recommend this place to anyone I know. Also when I told the tech that in the email there were 2 different address of which both were wrongincomplete he took my phone and forwarded the email to himself. Ok... let’s not worry about corona right?

I called FOUR times trying to set up Sleep Study. Two of those times was because they mysteriously didnt have the prescription. I even offered to manually do I go pick up prescription and DRIVE it to them and put it in their hands. Nope. Had to be delivered by my primary. Luckily my primary is wonderful and they called them directly. Two WEEKS later and still nothing. I called my insurance company and JMSleep Center hasnt even submitted it So I have to BEG them to do their job???? Will Somethings review said that heshe didnt know what they would have done without Melissa. Apparently Melissa is the ONLY one doing a good job. If they have this much trouble just Scheduling a Sleep Study THE reason for their existence. Its in their NAME I dont feel confident in their competence to actually follow through and do a good job. Ive ALWAYS loved the care at Jupiter Medical Center. Sadly their Sleep Center is just full of incompetence.

The office manager a woman by the name of Melissa was so very helpful I was having issues between the doctor and scheduling and Melissa came to the rescue I honestly dont know what I would have done if she had not been there to help she is truly one of a kind in todays world where customer service and caring has gone out the window. I live half the year in New York however if I ever needed a sleep study or anything related to the field again I will be sure to have it done there. Thank you so Very much.
