List of Jupiter Medical Center's Reviews
Dont go here if you have implants. I have had over 15 mammograms since Ive had my implants without any issue but this time through their carelessness or technician error my right breast was over compressed resulting in a rupture. Whats worse is that they wont acknowledge the error. The facility doctor actually covered up for the tech. I am now facing a 9 thousand dollar medical bill for replacement surgery because of their carelessness. The replacement surgery is not covered by insurance because the initial surgery was cosmetic. Insurance doesnt cover incompetent mammogram technicians.
Dealing with an admin problem over the phone with Karen was not a problem. She was so nice and efficient. I always hate dealing with admin details at Doctor offices but Karen made it a pleasure.
Been there 34 times over the past year.. Lab techs excellent ft desk help needs retraining. Twice they told no script in the system only to find out later they were wrong both times. Now when my doc faxes a script in I get my own copy to take with me as well as call the hospital before going in. That way no mix ups. Service is quick and I think the lab tech is excellent.Would recommend with some words of caution.
While my experience at this facility was a good one the billing practices are outrageous. This center is a participating facility on my insurance however they had an imaging center read my scans that were not in network for my insurance and now I have received a bill for $450. This should be an illegal practice. Of course calling is no help because there is never an answer in the billing department.
Really wish I would have read reviews before coming here. This was the absolute worst experience Ive had with a Drs office. I came in and waited an hour to be seen only to spend about 30 seconds with the dr who acted as if I was lying about feeling a lump in my breast. I was there in the first place because my general Dr felt something and recommended a specialist. This dr took one look at the ultrasound results and said theres nothing there and dismissed me. When I tried to explain that there IS something there because I can literally feel it AND its causing me pain she just said over and over ok but theres nothing there. She was the most rude dr Ive ever come across. Having a lump in your breast is a scary thing and not only did I not get answers to what it was she made me feel as if I was lying and wasting her time. I had also told the helper that my general dr had trouble finding it at first but eventually was able to and the helper evidently told the specialist bc she came back with a very snide Well didnt you say your general dr. couldnt even find anything? again insinuating that I was lying. I was honestly shocked at how she treated me that I left in tears and CRIED in the parking lot. Not only that they told me what the total would be since my insurance wasnt covering it and I paid it in full only to be billed a few months later for an additional cost I was never told of. So basically I paid about $600 for someone to make me cry in 30 seconds and act like I was lying about having a lump.
They specialize in mammograms but cannot tell you how much it costs to pay cash until after you make the appointment. What a joke
Had the MRI which is normally torture for me. Not here... excellent new equipment great techs music was awesome in your ears not pods the real earphone style which helps with the sound of the machine.comfortable beds with warm blankets. I can only say good things about this place. My new home.
I was outraged when I got my EOB. I called to make appointments and gave my insurance UHC they said in network. I did my exam friendly staff. I got my EOB last week got a bill for 700+ due to Radiologist who read it was not in network. Gee I NEVER had this in any facility I ever been to. I am outraged that I got this bill. Plus I was told we can make payment arrangement with you. I will never go do my mammogram here.I work in health field and had other patients say they gotten high bills as well now I know how they feel. I will be using another facility next year.
UPDATED REVIEW I had previously given the Niedland Breast Center a 5 star review several years ago see original review below. I am disappointed to now have to update my review to 1 star. I had an appointment on Saturday June 12th which was great because I work during the week. When I arrived none of my information had been put into my profile even though when I booked my appointment the scheduler had asked me all the questions. So it took about 15 minutes to check in because the woman at the desk in the lobby couldnt print etc. Fine a minor annoyance and I wouldnt have updated my review just for that. What nobody told is that for Saturday appointments there is no radiologist on duty so you cannot wait to get your results Since I live less than 5 miles away and in the same postal code I thought no bid deal I can wait until Tuesday or Wednesday to get the results in the mail. IT TOOK ALMOST TWO WEEKS FOR THE RESULTS TO ARRIVE IN THE MAIL. The radiologist report was dated that Wednesday the 16th and it wasnt postmarked until a week later the 22nd and arrived on the 24th. So the post office did their job and got it to me 2 days from when it was postmarked. Firstly to mail results in this day and age when everyone uses a portal to give patients their results is archaic. But if you are going to do it then do it in a timely manner. Ill be reaching out to get the CD with my scans so that I can go to another provider in the future.ORIGINAL REVIEW I was here right after it opened about 2 12 years ago and again today. Both times have been good experiences. They give you the option of waiting for your results and I choose to wait even though it may take a little bit more time 30 minutes. I brought my Kindle with me and they have relaxing private rooms to wait for the results and they play spa music so if you’re able to compartmentalize the reason you’re there the wait is actually quite enjoyable.
Same as many other reviews. Loved the place and service. Billing afterwards is a nightmare. Nothing is straight forward multiple bills come. My husband refuses to let me go back here due to the number of calls he had to make and the incompetency.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
