Jupiter Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

not happy with my recent experience at JOSC.Upon arrival had to cancel a procedure because of$$ issue. No way to resolve this with insurance atearly morning check in time.

Very Disappointed with this place They confirmed my appointment 2 days prior of my procedure explained to me over the phone and told me my copay from my insurance when I showed up to my procedure they could not find my insurance authorization they didnt even know where the paperwork was. I was fasting on time for my procedure and they told me to wait trying to get insurance authorization when they were supposed to have that before scheduling my procedure. I waited for about 30 minutes then left the place so upset without getting anything done. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE VERY UNORGANIZED

This surgery center is money hungry I was scheduled to have a procedure done at that facility only for them to cancelled it less than 24 hours before. What was told to me is that the money that the insurance was going to pay for the procedure is not worth it and they are not going to make a profit. They don’t care about patients wellbeing. The insurance verified personLeah said her manager had to canceled the surgery they didn’t even have the courtesy to call me and let me know they wasn’t sorry about anything I received no apology when I asked to speak to the manager and speak to Michelle they said both of them were gone for the day mind you it was only 3pm. I am speechless I never know if people in the medical field are so mean and unfair they are all about money. The patient is never first. I am a registered nurse myself who pride on treating my patients with dignity and respect and consideration but I didn’t receive none of that at Jupiter Surgery Center. I was able to speak for myself imagine the people who cannot speak for themselves how they getting treated. Do yourselves a favor RUN far away from this place if a Dr. tell you that he or she is going to use Jupiter Surgery for any procedure.I am still here I’m in pain and now I have to start from scratch with a new doctor get my preop done all over request days off work. DO NOT GO TO that surgery center.

The nursing staff is amazing.  They took great care of my mom.  It was a lovely experience.  The also did a great job of cleaning and spacing out patients in the waiting room and making sure everyone was wearing a mask during Covid19.  However the surgical prep area is too small for the number of patients in the space.  Felt cramped and was very difficult to avoid other people.  And the billing department was horrible  They had me call the insurance company and gather information prior to my moms surgery.  Honestly thats something they should have done.  And then they over billed my mom for their service.  My  mom was only supposed to pay 20% of the allowed Medicare charges and they billed three times 3x that much.  The folks in the billing department are rude arrogant and not trustworthy.  I wouldnt want my mom to return to the facility based on my experience with the billing department.

Yesterday was my second experience with Jupiter Outpatient Surgery Center. In both cases I was extremely impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of everyone I encountered Well done.

Wonderful staff From getting checked in to leaving to go home. All of the nurses were so nice and compassionate Very clean facility and organized. Definitely a great place to go if you are having surgery.

This place is incredible why do they not have 5 stars?? Healthcare in this country is pricey so of course you want to ask if the center doctors pathology etc are in network with your insurance. I have shadowed several doctors here and have also been a patient here and everyone is SO NICE. I have never met such a nice healthcare staff. Everyone from the receptionists and nurses to the doctors are so helpful and welcoming. I do not have enough nice things to say about this staff. Doctors Hernandez Rosainz and Deziel and nurses Debbie Dawn Sara and Craig are incredible. Everyone answered every question I had and checked up on me frequently during pre and post op. I highly recommend this place and the staff

I had a contracted price payed in full with my physician prior to my surgery one month later was sent a bill from the center asking for an additional 178.00 because the doctor went over his allotted time during my surgery. I never agreed nor anticipated that I would be responsible for the Dr going over his time seeing I paid everything up front.. not only that I was scheduled for surgery 2 days prior hooked up to IV and all.. waited for 5 hrs and was told I had to come back 2 days later because the surgery center lost there AC.This place is a joke I spoke to them and they sent me to collections even though they didn’t have my SS number ?? It’s not the $178 it’s the principle. If your doctor insists on having surgery at the outpatient center find another doctor that is associated with a real surgical center not one that steals your money and send you to collections for bills already paid upfront.

Great hospital. Wonderful staff. First class hospital.
