List of Margaret Egan's Reviews
Would never see her after the reviews
Do yourself a favor… do NOT see this Doctor. You will wait well over an hour to see her, and her visit consists of her trying to figure out “ codes” on the computer…it’s all about insurance codes and allowances and nothing about your health. Sad state of health care. Not to be unkind, but her appearance does not suggest she follows any nutrition or healthy lifestyle. Best to fInd someone who is concerned about your health.
Today was my first appt with this provider, as my previous doctor at this medical center was suddenly "no longer working here." Dr. Egan was 50 minutes late for my appointment, which was mentioned by staff as, "she usually runs a little late." Once in Exam Room, she seemed a bit disorganized and having trouble looking through medical file on computer. Main reason for my visit was to renew my regular prescription medications that I have been taking for years. However, Dr. Egan thought it would be a good idea to explore using new medication(s) instead of what had shown to be a previously effective treatment protocol. Her explanation was that "it is our job as Medical Providers to always try new treatments when available." I am not certain that this is truly sound medical advice. My wife has also been seen by this provider and found her medical advice to be somewhat obtuse when compared to that from previous medical providers.
We had an appointment scheduled for over a month for my grandfather who we believe is suffering from early onset dementia. We have been upset by his symptoms but we have been waiting patiently for the appointment to hopefully get answers. We had been notified that they would no longer accept his insurance as of August 1st but our appointment was in June so there wasn't an issue. The DAY OF the appointment, we received a call from this office saying that they would not see him because of his insurance. I would've paid cash for the appointment just for him to be seen but I won't give a penny to this doctor. What an inconsiderate and rude handling of a situation. Don't waste your time.
I truly appreciate the deep knowledge and experience of Dr. Egan, which enable her to quickly understand the issue, provide a clear diagnostic and to suggest various options for care. She is communicates the info in a way that is easily understood. She is a kind and most pleasant person, which is much appreciated, especially when one is not well. Other patients of her in the waiting room shared the same positive view about Dr Egan.
She has been my doctorfor years and I m very satisfied with her and her knowledge. She listen to you and makes it her business to follow up on any concerns. Well worth the wait.
I give her 5 Stars !!.I was helping my sister to find a new Doctor ,I saw the Website of Dr Margaret Eagan I knew we needed someone who had a lot patients we found it in this Doctor! My sister (her 1 languages is german) needed someone to take time to explain when and why she needed the medications. My sister's last D. was not the right one,to many Meds. I was so impressed with Dr.Eagan and so thankful that I found her for my sister. I remembered, when I was present in her office and observed her with my sister, thought about how lucky to have found her. Thank you Dr.Eagan!
This is probably the absolute worst doctors office ever. Three times I have gone for an Appointment and had to walk out after at a meeting nimum of an hour wait time. Once 45 minutes in the waiting room then 45 minutes in the exam room with not 1 person checking in me. I have since found a new doctor. They way overbook. Our time is as important as theirs but evidently they don’t agree. She is a nice person but that is where it stops
I had a first time appointment with Dr. Egan and after waiting for over an hour I was told that she had three other patients ahead of me and that she takes at least 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour with each one. I told the office staff that my time was as valuable as hers and I couldn’t wait any longer so I left never seeing her. She may be a good doctor but her scheduling stinks.
Great doctor! I just love her. Thorough and professional. I don’t mind waiting for her because she is worth it. I feel confident in her advice and methods.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
