List of Matthew Harris's Reviews
Our family had an amazing experience going to Dr. Harris. After our son injured his ankle, we were referred to a podiatrist. The podiatrist told us that our son had broken pieces by his inner ankle, had a cast put on him (for up to six weeks) and were told he may need surgery. My "mommy instinct" coupled with my young son not preferring the doctor, led me to go for a second opinion just five days after this cast was put on. Thank God that we were referred to Dr. Harris. He was not only professional, but also kind and caring. He took time listening to the situation, and then informed us that having viewed our son's x-rays prior to coming in the room, he knew he was removing that cast. Our son only had a sprain which could only heal with gradual daily movement (which would not have happened in the cast). He spoke to our elementary aged son with respect and care. He made sure he was comfortable before, during and after he removed his cast, and asked that we return in two weeks to ensure that he was 100% (which he was!). At the two week follow-up, we saw the PA Jason (who we briefly met at our first appointment). Jason was just as professional and kind...our children liked them both so much, they couldn't decide who they preferred!:) I hope we have no future injuries, however, if we do, we will not hesitate to just ask for a referral to Dr. Harris.

If you adopt a child from foster care and the child has any kind of Medicaid, don't expect this doctor to see them, even though he's on the list of providers. If you don't fax a referral and an x-ray report, you WILL NOT GET AN APPOINTMENT. They won't even call you back. No special exceptions for kids on the spectrum with fractures, who experience pain 1000 times worse than it is. This office does not care.
I had a minor surgery. It resulted in significant nerve damage. I now have Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. The condition, caused by the surgery, is not curable. It is debilitating. Although somewhat sympathetic, there was no protocol in place to address my condition. PT does not help nerve damage. He did not believe me or, was unaware of CRPS. He offered to supply medical records to whatever doctor I could find. No professional recommendations. I would not recommend him for surgery
To say Dr. Harris cares about his patients would be a huge understatement. One would be hard-pressed to find another physician who is as thoughtful and meticulous about accurately diagnosing his patients, even consulting with other top notch surgeons from around the world. Through our appointments he imparted as much understanding about my condition as possible, which provided so much comfort. Dr. Harris is a man of true character and integrity, and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
Dr. James Andrews is the best orthopedic surgeon in the world and Dr Matthew Harris must be mentioned in the same sentence and the same breath. Dr Harris is extraordinarily gifted, honest, trustworthy, sincere, committed, and meticulous.Settling for anything less than Dr Harris's expertise is only short changing yourself. His ability and orthopedic results are spectacular. Run to his office if you can ,... if not , he WILL fix it .
We were so lucky to find Dr Harris. My twins have had complex orthopedic problems and he has provided top notch care. Would not trust my family to anyone else!
My 14 year old broke his ankle. Dr Harris took EXCELLENT care of my son. Very thorough and professional. Thank you Dr. Harris.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
