I used to really like seeing Dr. Melendy but lately the appointments have become so rushed and impersonal. After my most recent visit - I was told that my lab results were all within normal limits, but when I read the results myself there was something abnormal noted by the lab. I sent a message to Dr. Melendy on my patient portal asking if I needed treatment, and my message was ignored. After a week of not getting a message back I sent a second message. The second message was answered by another provider who I had never even seen. She took the initiative to look over my lab results and send over a prescription to treat my condition. I was happy that someone helped me but very disappointed that the doctor I have been seeing for years could not be bothered to read my results correctly or get back to me. I will absolutely be transferring to another practice for future care.

As a first time patient at Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists Of The Palm Beaches, I chose Dr. Melendy and I'm so glad I did!! I definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a new OB/GYN as she was very professional and at the same time was able to alleviate my anxiety in no time. I hadn't been to an OB/GYN in 5+ years and was VERY nervous. Her and the entire staff in the Jupiter office couldn't have been nicer.

This was the first time I saw Dr. Melendy. It was a short follow up visit only but I was impressed that she was efficient but also still had time for questions and had a positive upbeat bedside manner.

Dr, Melendy is a good doctor following every protocal. However, our daughter was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer at age 25 under her care. She was adopted and we did not know any background health information except that her grandmother and her great grandmother had died at a young age of breast cancer. We had NO way of knowing about her biological mother. at the time. Our daughter had at least two incidents of precancerous cells after her pap test when she was about 19 or 20. Dr. Melendy encouraged genetic testing but it was not done. And the way we understand it, even if she had tested positive, she still would not have had a mammogram until she was 30 years old. All of this is so tragic. PLEASE have your precious children tested for genetic problems. And doctors, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE assume that children who are adopted are carrying the BRACA gene! if the history is evident!!!!!

So very thankful to have finally found a Dr. Melendy through references on a community page. She is kind and takes her time to listen . Also want to mention that the nurses and assistants are great ! Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had my first appointment with this establishment not too long ago. They were all friendly and very helpful specially as a first time patient. I felt comfortable through all procedures that needed to be done. I would definitely recommend them to my friends or anyone that needs it. Thanx to Dr. Sasha Melendy and Dr. Deana Cotto
